The others offered upgrades that would have required the furnace to be replaced also (for thousands more). Instead of the basic 2 ton, 14 SEER unit everyone offers, I went with a 2.5 ton, 16 SEER unit, for only a few hundred more. The two installers worked as a team. The installation was not without problems. First, they broke an A/C drain pipe, second, they cut a sprinkler controller wire while running a PVC pipe. Here's my take, accidents happen but how does the business respond to these issues?
