"After 18 years, my wife and I started to renovate our home. We met with several companies (one of them being Advance). Prices were comparable with all of them, but quality of materials were not. We preferred the options that Advance offered and felt they were the right company for the job. I have never been a fan of high pressure sales techniques, up-selling or salespersons who’s answers are all about getting you to sign the papers. Rob, Advance’s sales representative, we found to be very personable. It was his knowledge and truthful answers that were the deciding factor in why we chose Advance for our first major home improvement job. We were installing solar panels and wanted to have a new roof installed before the installation. The Advance roofing crew headed by Adrian, were all very professional, friendly, and worked extremely hard during the hot summer heat in July 2019. We were so impressed with the roofing job and crew, in early 2020 we decided to continue our relationship with Advance and met with Rob again for our second job. This time a new 8 foot front door with side lights, family room french door, large foyer window, master bedroom windows in the front of the house and some cedar impressions siding accents. We were very happy with the job and quality of the finished work that Steve and Calvin completed. Like most jobs there are small details that need to be adjusted and these were dealt with quickly and to our satisfaction with our project manager Gary. In November 2020, we completed a third job with Advance in which we installed two more doors, windows, and additional cedar impression and board and batten siding. Most recently, we scheduled a fourth job for the Spring of 2021 to complete the remaining windows (I have over 40 windows in my home). I can not say enough about how much Advance has exceeded our expectations in every way—the quality of work, great crews and home office staff. They are friendly, requests and concerns are answered quickly by our Project Manger Gary and Sale Representative Rob. Based on the excellent rapport we have with the entire Advance team, we have decided to continue our relationship with them for all future home renovations, no need to look any further. We look forward to continuing our home projects with Advance, as we know it will be stress free."

"The crew of 3 arrived about 5 minutes late but were stuck in traffic.  They were professional and efficient.  They covered their shoes with hospital type shoe covers and placed drop cloths down.  Although one of the windows was measured a little too tall (measured by someone else), they were still able to made it work by adding two small pieces of trim and painting them to match the white trim that was already in place.  The job took 3 hours total.  They did a great job cleaning up and also wiped up the wood floors were they had walked and left some salty footprints (it has snowed the day before).  They also vaccummed all the tiny pieces of old window, wood bits , etc from the old window removal.  The windows look amazing and I am very pleased!!  Pella was the most expensive of the 3 companies that I received quotes from but had they best warranty so that was an easy decision for me. <br /> Donna Griffi - the sales rep I initially met with in early October was great as well.  Professional, friendly and very knowledgeable.  She was not at all pushy as one of the other window reps that had given me a quote was. <br /> I would highly recommend them! <br /> <br />"

"My husband and I had Ferris replace our roof in Oct. 2018, and replace the flooring throughout our downstairs, Dec. 2018. The roofing materials that were installed were defective from the manufacturer. Cory did a fabulous job rectifying this issue when it was called her attention! Cory worked with the manufacturer getting the roofing replaced and did a great job keeping us informed as to her progress with the manufacturer. Once the new materials arrived, Ferris was back at our house within two days to replace the defective materials. We worked with Emily to replace our flooring and she was fantastic as well! Emily was very attentive and answered all of our emails and phone calls very quickly. We had some custom woodworking done with our flooring and everyone from the carpenters and painters were very professional. Everyone from our initial sales staff, to the folks in the showroom and to all of those who worked with us throughout our projects deserve a huge round of applause! We were made to feel that were were Ferris' only client and we are very appreciative of such a wonderful experience!"

"I enjoy the windows but the process was difficult. twice windows were mis-measured and the work had to be put off until the correct windows could be ordered. One of the bathroom windows was installed to far in eliminating a shelf that was there. Pella had to come out an move it back. The guy who installed the bathroom window initially was quite angry about the movement of the window and also when I said I was dissatisfied with some other work that was done. He expressed that he was doing me a favor to be doing the work. I have only one Anderson French door left and am not going to replace it, because of the aggravation I experienced."

"Larry was easy to communicate and was thoughtful in his suggestions. We have a very old house, so we needed some thinking outside the box- such as adding water turnoffs in the bathroom. The bathroom was completely gutted. He replaced the wallboard, moved the toilet, installed new light fixtures, tiled the floor and behind tub, installed a new tub, toilet, vanity. He kept the work area neat with coverings to prevent getting dust everywhere. He took pictures as the worked progressed. His price was competitive and we have asked for an estimate for another project."

"I believe we got what we paid for. We had Install America out for a quote and they originally priced it somewhere around $16,000. But we got a phone call during the winter asking if a senior salesman could stop by to discuss new pricing. He wasn't pushy at all and told us they would do the roof for $10,000 and we were allowed to select from the more superior shingles, which we weren't in the original quote. Our old roof was nearing the end of its life, so we figured we were getting a good deal and decided to go forward with it. The workers showed up later than anticipated on the start day, and when they finally did, there was nothing on their vehicles to let us know that they were with Install America. No logos on the vehicles or clothing...nothing, so it was pretty obvious that it wasn't Install America doing the work but a subcontractor instead. Nobody came to the door to introduce themselves. Outside of us taking the initiative and coming out to meet them, there was no communication with the workers. I couldn't have picked the foreman out if you asked me to. We have a big roof and the work took 2 1/2 days, which was fine. They would have been done in 2 but they didn't order enough shingles. Not a big deal. The biggest issue we had was that they didn't make an effort at all to clean up the nails in our yard and flower beds. I understand if you miss a few, but I walked around after the job was done and picked up 250+ nails. We have 3 kids and a dog. Granted, it was January and they weren't playing outside much, but I was still finding nails 6 months later. My wife called to complain, but she kept getting the run-around with Install America. All this to say that we definitely wouldn't go with Install America again if we had to. There was just a lack of professionalism by the subcontractor and Install America (afterwards, not prior to the work being done). We are satisfied with the finished product, but it just seems as if they were happy to take our money, but didn't care about customer service at all."
