"I have been dealing with the leaks in my bathroom and kitchen for about a year. It seemed impossible to find a reputable plumber to do the job. The large plumbing companies in Princeton, WV prioritize commercial plumbing and are known for charging exorbitant prices. <br /> I was fortunate enough to find Mr. Leonard on Angie's List. I called him and he came the same day to give me an estimate. Although he gave me an inkling as to what the price of the work would be, he still mailed me a professional estimate. <br /> I followed up within a week by calling him back and confirming that I would like him to do the work. He scheduled the job for the third business day following the call. <br /> When that day arrived, he was punctual, professional, respectful, and courteous, by far the best plumber I've dealt with in the area. I would recommend Mr Leonard to anyone who needs plumbing work done. He did not turn me away because of the small scope of the job. <br /> I am thrilled with the work he did, and I would definitely use his services again. <br />"

"<p>We experienced a clog in the pipes leading from our kitchen sink on Thanksgiving and we were unable to unclog it ourselves.  Several hours later we noticed a small leak from one of the pipes.  We called S&S Plumbing that night and after determining that as long as there was no water in the sink, the leak would stop, S&S Plumbing said they would be out the next morning by 10 am.  They called before coming and arrived early.  It was quickly discovered that there were several issues going on, least of which was the clog.  At one point, we had four people working on the issue, all at the same hourly quote.  They provided us with a solution that was both cost effective and did not require major work or time.  We could not recommend them more strongly.</p> <br />"

"Duane came to my residence about 15 mins early. I explained that I'd had notices from my water service saying my water flow was constant since the 10th (almost a full month) and I hadn't been able to get a hold of anyone there that could give me details about my issue. <br /> He shut off my water, checked the meter and said there was a small leak. He was able to determine that it was inside the house rather than in the line from the meter to the house and continued to narrow down the area until he found that the upstairs toilet was running (inaudibly).  <br /> He was very courteous and considerate, taking the time to show me how to access my meter and explaining each step of the process. He suggested taking a video of my meter if I needed to dispute the bill from the utility company because he didn't think it was as much of a drain as they made it out to be.  <br /> The entire experience was a huge relief to me and I'd definitely recommend them to anyone having issues with their plumbing. <br />"

"We worked with both Cory and Darin on our project, and both of them understood our kitchen cabinet budget and worked within it. Compared to other providers, the product we purchased and had installed was in the same price range. Our cabinets, however, have a few more included features that were add-ons for other manufacturers whom we quoted. Cory was (and remains) very attentive to our needs. If you're looking to remodel or upgrade your kitchen, we recommend you visit Darin Fisher Designer Kitchens."

FAQs for gas piping projects in Flat-top, WV

Plumbers with proper licensing and credentials install and relocate gas lines. When hiring a professional, verify they have experience with gas systems and all required certifications. Some homeowners choose to work with plumbers specializing in natural gas installations, as they have extensive experience with similar projects and understand the safety requirements.

The timeline for gas line relocation varies based on project complexity, permit processing, and inspection scheduling. The physical labor takes a few hours to one day, depending on the line length. However, the actual installation work represents only part of the overall project timeline. Your contractor should provide a specific timeframe based on your circumstances and local permitting requirements.

Your gas supply must be shut off during the relocation process. This safety measure prevents gas leaks while connections are being modified. Plan for this temporary service interruption by making alternative arrangements for cooking, heating, or other gas-dependent systems in your home. The shut-off generally only lasts for a portion of the work, often a few hours.

Relocating gas lines to connect new appliances is a common reason for this type of project. Whether you're installing a gas stove, fireplace, dryer, or outdoor grill, a professional can determine the best route for extending your existing gas system. The cost will depend on the distance between your current gas line and the new appliance location.

Gas line work is not suitable for DIY projects. Natural gas is highly flammable and potentially lethal if not handled correctly. Gas leaks can be difficult to detect without specialized equipment. Professional plumbers have the proper training, tools, and experience to safely relocate gas lines while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
