Our timing was perfect; he had just completed a job and was waiting on starting the next, and we were ready to have our work done. I let him know the job was his and he came with his crew the next morning. It was done the following day. The area in which they worked is as clear as if they'd never been there. "Rahat Construction has completed many exceptional home repairs on our 3-story brick building over the last decade. Most recently, Kazi repaired a leak in our roof, corrected the pitch of the roof, replaced the drain and drain pipe, re-flashed all seams on our roof, and coated it with a silicone roof sealant. In addition, Kazi repaired the ceiling of the top floor apartment, installed a new roof hatch, resealed all the windows on the back of the house, repaired some crumbling pointing, and scraped and repainted our fire escape. In the past, he's repoured the cement floor in our boiler room, replaced the ceiling in the basement, and more. He does fantastic work, exceeding my expectations in all cases and, importantly, always completes the work in a timely manner. "I originally hired LJ&A to remove some 30+ year old stucco siding and replace with new vinyl siding and fix any rot there might be. The project expanded to include structural repairs. There was a considerable amount of hidden water damage and rot to the building. Lional and his friendly crew expertly advised and corrected all of the issues including re-framing and installing two new windows, repairing a rotted sill plate, and a structural beam. They used quality materials and the workmanship was first rate. While these necessary extra repairs added to the budget, none of it was a surprise. LJ&A's bid was fair and all the added value work they did was outstanding. They didn't try to gloss over major problems or take advantage and inflate the price of the job. This company is communicative, honest, and very professional, best of all they treated us like neighbors. I will use them for all my projects and recommend them."

Workers took great care to minimize disruption while work was going on- accessing the roof by a ladder rather than coming through the house, and they put down paper so they wouldn’t track dirt through our home on the rare occasions they had to come from inside.
