"Our well stopped working on New Year's Day. I took a look and the QD Control Box smoked. I called a few plumbers and left messages. Hoppers was the first to respond and were able to come out first thing the next day. I had sent pictures of the item that needed to be replaced and they showed up with the part. Whole job took less than a half hour. Very professional & courteous."

"Miracle of Miracles, I was referred to Bob O'Brien Plumbing about three or four years ago by a friend in the plumbing supply business. After using many other plumbers in and around our area and rarely being satified, along came Bob. This is a family owned and operated business, that REALLY cares about their customers. I have never met such an honest, hardworking professional. His work is excellent. He has always had the parts on his truck that he needs for the job. He always talks to me before he comes over so he has everything he needs to complete the job. I am finished shopping around for a good plumber, because Bob is my guy! His prices are very reasonable and he is meticulous about cleaning up afterwards. I can't say enough great things about O'Brien Plumbing. Highly, highly recommended!!!!!!! A++++ <br />"

"It's okay. They explained what they did. They're clear about their work. They tend to go rather less expensive. I think they might need to get stuff done a little bit more than the cheaper thing. They did the job that they said they would. They did the job a little bit cheap. They don't do stuff without us knowing. I'm not going back there."

"It was great! Completely hassle free. 3D plumbing came out and installed the water heater in an afternoon, fixed the leak, and installed the kitchen sink. They came in, inspected the water heater. gave us recommendations, and then let us know of the cost and time frame in which they would be able to replace it. There were absolutely no messes to clean up after their repair, and the staff were extremely nice. We have had our new water heater for 4 months now and have had no problems. The sink is beautiful and I'm very happy that they took the time to install it for us. Overall I am happy with the services of 3D Plumbing. I would recommend them to anyone for any plumbing issues that come up."

FAQs for gas piping projects in Foresthill, CA

Plumbers with proper licensing and credentials install and relocate gas lines. When hiring a professional, verify they have experience with gas systems and all required certifications. Some homeowners choose to work with plumbers specializing in natural gas installations, as they have extensive experience with similar projects and understand the safety requirements.

The timeline for gas line relocation varies based on project complexity, permit processing, and inspection scheduling. The physical labor takes a few hours to one day, depending on the line length. However, the actual installation work represents only part of the overall project timeline. Your contractor should provide a specific timeframe based on your circumstances and local permitting requirements.

Your gas supply must be shut off during the relocation process. This safety measure prevents gas leaks while connections are being modified. Plan for this temporary service interruption by making alternative arrangements for cooking, heating, or other gas-dependent systems in your home. The shut-off generally only lasts for a portion of the work, often a few hours.

Relocating gas lines to connect new appliances is a common reason for this type of project. Whether you're installing a gas stove, fireplace, dryer, or outdoor grill, a professional can determine the best route for extending your existing gas system. The cost will depend on the distance between your current gas line and the new appliance location.

Gas line work is not suitable for DIY projects. Natural gas is highly flammable and potentially lethal if not handled correctly. Gas leaks can be difficult to detect without specialized equipment. Professional plumbers have the proper training, tools, and experience to safely relocate gas lines while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
