"On behalf of my 89-year-old mother, I recently commissioned L. E. Schwartz and Son, Inc. to re-roof her home built in the 1950’s. This project was a daunting mission for me, inasmuch as the Home Improvement Industry in today’s environment is fraught with unscrupulous contractors. It is refreshing to recognize and appreciate the following Schwartz traits: • Schwartz exudes professionalism and accountability. • Phone calls and email messages are answered in an expeditious manner. • Roof was installed in accordance with the predetermined schedule! • Quality of the roof is SUPERIOR. • Financing was facilitated with well-informed counseling. I wholeheartedly endorse L. E. Schwartz and Son, Inc. as a Home Improvement Roofing Contractor. GODSPEED! Brenda M. Gibson"

"Several years ago I used T&J Exteriors to replace 3 or 4 windows on a recently purchased home, so I contacted them again when I decided to replace the rest. My first experience was great; the owner met with me to determine what I needed and to answer questions. After the installation, he called to make sure I was happy with the product and service. My second experience was different; I had to leave a few messages before I heard back from the owner. He told me that he subcontracted out all his window jobs, saying someone would be out to measure. The man who did the measuring and the man who actually installed my windows were professional and competent, and I love the quality the windows. After the job was completed I did not contacted by the anyone to see if I was satisfied, but about a week later I got a call asking for payment. Maybe I am just old school but I believe spending more than $5,000 with a company entitles me to at least a "thank you for your business"."

"You should probably add 4-6 weeks to the expected delivery date if you expect to need the "enclosed" hardware. I received the blinds in the estimated time, but it came without the required hardware. I have made 4 calls (at least) over several weeks, but the hardware is nowhere in site. It is clear that SelectBlinds.com is a marketing company only has outsourced all production and fulfillment to third parties and evidently has a difficult time coordinating these type of customer service issue. Extremely frustrating that my blinds have been sitting in the floor for over a month and all I need is a few screws. Happy to go to Home Depot to get the screws, but SelectBlinds can't even tell me what sizes I need."

"Repair Clinic sent me a water intake valve that had some scuff marks and an unnecessary fixture (which I thought nothing of, assuming it had been removed from a new dishwasher). When the part did not fix my dishwasher's issue, I ordered a circulation pump, which also failed to fix the issue, so I decided to return both parts. Repair Clinic blamed me for the scuff marks and extra fixture, which is unacceptable. They referenced their return policy which states that parts which have been installed cannot be returned, and denied me any form of refund. For all I know, the water intake valve was defective, and I have no recourse. Don't put any stock in the "No-Hassle 365-Day Returns" they proudly tout on their homepage. Instead, expect finger-pointing and uncaring dismissal. You are better off with one of their many competitors."

"The did a great job. Thomas (the owner) is honest, detail oriented, and knowledgeable. We shopped around for a siding company and interviewed several of them. All American Exteriors exceeded every expectation we had. We would use them again and highly recommend."

"If I could start off with zero stars I would. This company is the absolute worst at window installations. Below are pictures from the 5th and final time of the disastrous work they did on our property. Our initial installation was October of 2017. They installed the windows twice, and came back out 3 more times to fix and seal the windows after we complained about the horrible work done. It is now March of 2019 and the job is a disaster. Our home is much colder now due to them not knowing how to use silicone or any other sealant to keep out the elements. Even the owners and chief mgr came themselves and as you can see, they have no idea how to install windows properly. I urge anyone in the Middle Georgia area, Macon and everywhere else, do not under any circumstance hire Window World of Middle Georgia to sell you or install windows in your home. You will surely regret it as we are now being advised by legal counsel on next steps to see how we may recover the now thousands of dollars in damage and hire a more reputable company to take out and replace all the disastrous work that WINDOW WORLD OF MIDDLE GEORGIA did. #AbsoluteWorstWindowInstallersOnEarth"

FAQs for new windows service projects in Forsyth, GA

Yes, bay windows add value to a home. They enhance the property by expanding the interior space and flooding rooms with natural light. Their unique three-panel design creates a stunning focal point that elevates curb appeal and modernizes living areas. This architectural detail increases both functional space and visual appeal, directly contributing to higher home resale value.

Yes, all window types have the potential to become part of a bay window configuration when modified correctly. The transformation involves reconfiguring standard windows into a multi-panel design that features a larger central window flanked by smaller ones. This process requires precise professional planning and custom framing to ensure durability, visual balance, and structural integrity.

Bay windows typically consist of three glass panels extending beyond the home's exterior walls, with a larger center panel flanked by two smaller ones. In contrast, bow windows are composed of four to six equally sized glass panels that create a gentle curve and do not extend as far from the exterior walls.

Bay windows cost more than standard windows because their expansive, multi-panel design requires additional materials and skilled labor. Their construction involves extra glass, specialized frame components that extend outward, and complex operating mechanisms. These technical demands necessitate precise engineering and multiple expert installations, thereby significantly increasing both material and labor expenses.

Bay windows cost three times more than standard double-hung windows because their design requires extra panels, expanded framing, and a more complex installation process. The advanced construction method increases material consumption and demands comprehensive expertise, while specialized window treatments further elevate expenses. This all results in a significant difference in overall project cost.
