"J&M Electrical did an outstanding job of installing a home backup generator. When the gentleman came out to do the onsite inspection and provide me with the results and options, it was a no pressure sales approach. He walked me through the entire process that was used to determine what size generator I would require in the event of a power failure. When he had left the house that evening it was not with an ultimatum of “You must let us know right away, or in the next 72 hours” type approach. In this case it was more along the lines of “Think it over and we are glad to have been able to present our product” Once we decided to have the generator installed the communication from the front office in regards to what was required from me and what the contractor would provide was excellent. Scheduling was easy and all that was discussed was provided on time and with no exceptions. The work crew was on time and cleaned up upon completion of the installation. Overall an outstanding experience and I would recommend them to anybody looking to have a backup home generator installed."

"I can’t say enough about my experience with Davis & Green! The lights in our new nursery were flickering, and we were worried maybe we had hit some wiring when drilling and screwing into the walls. Davis & Green was very responsive and sent someone out very quickly. We worked with Doug Fisher (who was absolutely amazing!) and Dalton DeMay (also great!!). They were extremely thorough in tracking down the cause of the flickering lights and I am so appreciative that they took they time to narrow down all of the options and figure it out. While doing that, they also noticed that our AC unit circuit was tripped and discovered that it was due an outdoor outlet that was improperly tapped into the unit. So that saved us from having to call someone out when it was time to turn the AC back on and discover it didn’t work. I don’t usually write reviews, but I have also never been so satisfied with a service before! I really appreciated that Doug took the time to explain to me the different things they were testing and looking for, and mostly that he took the time to figure out the source of the issue. It was a huge relief, not only to have the problem solved in a timely manner, but to have found someone we can really TRUST to do a great job. It is obvious that they really know what they’re doing. I would HIGHLY recommend Davis & Green (and Doug Fisher!)."

"The service was very timely, thorough, and professional. While we were not anxious to be replacing our furnace the service technicians who assisted us made the experience as enjoyable as it could be. There was an initial consultation on our existing unit. We were given a competitive price estimate for repair and they offered, without pressure, to give quotes on replacement options. We have a dual-fuel system for the 1st floor with a heat pump and a gas furnace. We were provided three options to chose from along with an explanation of the pro's and con's of each. Essentially the choice was between an economy unit, a mid-range one, and a high efficiency (costly) one. The technicians explained that the break-even on the high-efficiency one likely didn't justify the additional cost in our case, so we went with the mid-range option. We set an appointment for a pre-install inspection. The install team came, took measurements, and determined if any components needed to be pre-fabricated to make the unit we chose work with our existing heat exchanger, which was still in it's serviceable life. I was impressed that they didn't try and replace everything and instead told me what could still be used to save us money. They determined they would need to fabricate some additional parts to fit our new system to our existing components, but did not charge us anything additional for the parts they would fabricate. We scheduled the day of the install. The day of the install the same installation team came with our new unit and all the needed parts and components. It took the full day for them to install the new unit, but I worked from home with minimal interruptions. After the new unit had been completely installed and they let me review the work the install team contacted another technician to come a technically inspect their work. They left and the other technician arrived about a half hour later. He inspected the new unit installation and our other HVAC systems completely. After inspect and testing everything he answered all my questions and informed me they also included a servicing plan for the 1st year at no additional charge. We were previously on a home warranty plan, so this was our 1st major "out of pocket repair." The difference in the quality of service was truly stunning. I can't recommend them highly enough. Our installation was in the early spring, so we had them back last week to check all our systems for the summer. Again they didn't just evaluate the unit they replaced, they inspected our entire HVAC system. Our 2nd floor unit was low on coolant, so they recharged the heat pump at a discounted rate. We also had electrical issues, which were beyond the scope of the service call, but the technician provided helpful advice."

"The home had some devices that were not properly installed by a previous installer, so they made sure everything was properly grounded and tested every outlet and light at the end to insure it was safe and up to code. Will definitely use them for future needs, highly recommended."

"First and foremost I must start this review by saying if you are looking for electrical work in your home you can stop your search now because Mr. Electric is the guy to use. I have had great experiences with people coming to my home before but Brian absolutely blew them all away with his top notch service. He is by far the most professional, curtious, friendly, honest, and hard working individual that I have ever used for work in my home. I left Brian a message after discovering an electrical issue in my home and not only did I get a call back within 15 minutes but due to an opening in his schedule he told me he could be at my home to diagnose my issue in 30 minutes!!! This was huge for me because I was worried my issue might be a fire hazard. After arriving and inspecting my home Brian not only diagnosed the issue he actually took me and showed me where my issue was coming from as well as showing me what it was doing and explaining why it was happening. Per my request he also inspected the rest of my home as well as under my house to see if I had any other issues. After his inspection we sat down and went over everything and he broke it down into things he thought I really needed and recommendations that I might want to do even if it was later on down the road. I want to make it’s very clear that he DID NOT ever act like a pushy sales person or try to over sell anything to me that I didn’t want to get done at that time. He layed everything out and gave a detailed explanation on why he thought each was a necessity or a recommendation plus gave me all my options and simply let me make my own choice based on his expert knowledge. I ended up choosing 3 things that I agreed needed to be done. When he came back (just 2 days later) to do the work I could not be happier with how things look and the quality of work!! MOST IMPORTANTLY above the already excellent service when he went to complete some work in the attic that he discovered during the inspection (that was not up to code and was a fire hazard) he was able to use just half the parts he thought he was going to need. Even though I had to agree to pay a specific price and I would have been none the wiser he told me that he didn’t have to use all the parts and cut my total bill by $140. That is honesty and good character at its finest. I would not only recommend Brian to friends and family but if I heard a complete stranger mention needing an electrician I would go out of my way just to recommend him.
