"Every part of dealing with this company went smoothly, from the initial call to installation. They fully described the process, price, and timeline. The repair technicians were always early and were friendly. It tooks a week or two for them to order the window, and it only took about 10 minutes to replace since it was relatively small."

"HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Josh quickly found the source of a window leak that other specialists missed. This saved replacing flashing and windows in an attempt to stop the water leak. He also expertly replaced the inside trim around my window. It looks just like it should. I'm very grateful for the ways Josh went above and beyond. Josh seems to be doing what he does Best, being a secretary is not that, have patients and follow up. It's woth the effort."

"I haven't had my windows cleaned before, so I don't have a baseline against which to compare.  Overall, I would consider the service above average, but not a slam dunk for repeat service. <br /> Everyone involved was pleasant and professional.  Patty did a fantastic job fitting me into the schedule according my needs and the weather.  Communication was great on this issue.  Two people showed up to do the work.  One was 10 minutes early and other right on time. <br /> There was some miscommunication about whether track cleaning was included in the price, and to their credit, they ended up doing a basic wipe-down of the window tracks for the quoted price.  (Though I would have been happier if less water/mud had been left in the tracks.)  I'd note that they usually clean the screens for the quoted price, which they didn't have to do in my case since I had brand new screens, so that was to their benefit.  (Prior to the track cleaning discussion, no credit had been offered.) <br /> The quality of the cleaning itself I would consider a B, though I have admittedly high standards and am very detail oriented.  My windows hadn't been cleaned in a long time, and several required scraping and steel wool, especially on the west side of the house where the prevailing winds blow the most dirt.  In addition, several windows have scratches on the outside and condensation between the panes (broken seals), which I obviously didn't expect them to address in any way.  There is no doubt my windows are much cleaner than they were before, but I can find some missed spots and the occasional un-wiped edge on virtually every window.  Some of these are admittedly tiny, but others I can see from across the room, especially on the windows in my garage.  They were happy to clean any spots that I pointed out, but I didn't have time to check window thus ended up letting many slide. <br /> In short, scheduling was excellent, the people were pleasant and the cleaning was above average, but not so impressive that I'm likely to recommend them to friends without qualifiers. <br />"

"Let me start by saying that my windows did get installed and I think I paid a fair price for the installation.  Excessive & sloppy caulking notwithstanding, I think the installs were done well, no leaks and I think the windows were of the quality they were supposed to be. <br /> But the process was not professional. <br /> When we were doing the initial scheduling, Wayne made a joke about "moving in," turns out it was not a joke. <br /> He did not show up for the initial estimate visit.  Did not call until the next day with an excuse, and we rescheduled. <br /> We met, he did the inspection and gave me an estimate (everything included) via email. <br /> Arranged to start the job with an understanding that it would be 3 days. <br /> Over the next 8 days or so he did not show up one time when he was supposed to, including one day when he did not show up, or even bother to call me.  When I reached out to him after he was several hours late, he eventually responded that he had been called away to some mountain town where there was no cell service because a deer had kicked out someone's glass. <br /> Some of the highlights: <br /> Tools lying in 5 different rooms of my house when he left for the day <br /> I'm still finding broken glass in my yard where he had to bust out a window to get it removed <br /> Broken glass in my driveway <br /> I'm not a safety expert but it seemed to me that when breaking glass out of an installed window with a hammer, safety glasses should be worn <br /> Wanted to charge me more to replace the exterior trim (we reached an arrangement on this issue) <br /> Installed exterior trim that did not match the house with no intention to paint it and no understanding that it was even a problem, which is amazing to me... that he thought it was OK to leave my house (green with dark green trim) with raw cedar trim around the windows with white caulk around them.  "I'm not a painter," he said. Am I crazy?  Is this reasonable? <br /> After a heated conversation, we did reach an understanding that involved a reduction of my bill in order to pay for painting.  <br /> Since then, Wayne has made a follow up call to me to see how everything was going, and probably would come clean up the glass in my yard that is now being exposed as the snow melts. <br /> I hate to leave a bad review of his business as he is a genuinely nice guy, and in the end I did get my windows installed at a fair price.  In addition, he has made every effort to seek me out and redress any concerns I might have. But the process was much harder and more frustrating than it had to be."

"I contacted Greg Cotton the president and owner of the business because I noticed a sign in my neighbor's yard who was getting some siding replaced due to the hail storm that caused some major devastation in the Denver area. Greg was very professional and scheduled an appointment to come out and give me a quote. Due to traffic on interstate 70 Greg was running a little late however; he notified me that he was going to be a little late due to traffic and was extremely apologetic. To make a long story short, Greg is honest, he is a man of integrity and he has an excellent crew working for him. The crew leader name is Carlos who have many years of experience in the business and this experience has been an excellent one for me and I would recommend anyone needing siding and window replacement to contact Greg at Home Remodeling Technology Inc."

"He was very professional and personable and answered all of my questions.  My unit is 30 years old and only one window had been previously replaced.  I have not had them cleaned before on the outside, so much of it could not be thoroughly cleaned.  I need to replace all of the windows except the one I had previously replaced approximately ten years ago.  That one looked great. He did warn me prior to doing the work that, because of the number of years without being cleaned, he would not be able to get them really clean and I said to go ahead any way. I plan to have them do the replacements in the future. <br> <br>Also, I thought the price was very favorable considering that he had to use a long ladder in order to reach the windows."

"We bought an older home and several windows were letting in the winter draft. We decided this past year to have the windows replaced. From the consultation appointment to installation this company was completely professional. We did not feel forced into buying and the installers did an exceptional job. Our house stayed much warmer this winter. We will be using Renewal again!"

"If we could give a 10-star rating we would. We recently replaced 12 windows with JDI and have nothing but the highest recommendation for them. Rex (the owner) is great; he's very personable, professional, knowledgeable and most importantly no high pressure sales pitch, which we greatly appreciated. The price was very competitive and we really liked that NO down payment/upfront money was required until the installation was complete. We had 4 bids and JDI was the only company that offers this. Darrin Sr. (installer) and his crew (Darrin Jr. and Rob) came out for the installation; they are professional, courteous, meticulous about their work and really nice guys. Darrin Sr. is great at communicating (scheduling, expectations, etc.). They were on time and worked continuously until the entire job was completed (1 ½ days). As each window was installed they cleaned the windows, vacuumed, cleaned up all construction material and reinstalled our blinds... THANK YOU!! Overall JDI service is superb and we highly recommend them. We are more than pleased and love the Amerimax windows."

FAQs for new windows service projects in Fort Lupton, CO

Yes, bay windows add value to a home. They enhance the property by expanding the interior space and flooding rooms with natural light. Their unique three-panel design creates a stunning focal point that elevates curb appeal and modernizes living areas. This architectural detail increases both functional space and visual appeal, directly contributing to higher home resale value.

Yes, all window types have the potential to become part of a bay window configuration when modified correctly. The transformation involves reconfiguring standard windows into a multi-panel design that features a larger central window flanked by smaller ones. This process requires precise professional planning and custom framing to ensure durability, visual balance, and structural integrity.

Bay windows typically consist of three glass panels extending beyond the home's exterior walls, with a larger center panel flanked by two smaller ones. In contrast, bow windows are composed of four to six equally sized glass panels that create a gentle curve and do not extend as far from the exterior walls.

Bay windows cost more than standard windows because their expansive, multi-panel design requires additional materials and skilled labor. Their construction involves extra glass, specialized frame components that extend outward, and complex operating mechanisms. These technical demands necessitate precise engineering and multiple expert installations, thereby significantly increasing both material and labor expenses.

Bay windows cost three times more than standard double-hung windows because their design requires extra panels, expanded framing, and a more complex installation process. The advanced construction method increases material consumption and demands comprehensive expertise, while specialized window treatments further elevate expenses. This all results in a significant difference in overall project cost.
