"From the beginning bid to the final installation of our new windows we were completely satisfied with Legacy Exteriors. Matt is a very honest and straight-forward person to deal with and the installation crew did a remarkable job installing, cleaning up and getting the windows spotless when the job was completed. We would highly recommend Matt and Legacy Exteriors to anyone looking for new windows.."

"My husband and I had a wonderful experience with Clarity Windows & Doors! We were looking to replace a small number of windows (3) and were having trouble finding a company that would take on such a small project. We called Clarity Windows & Doors. Kyle helped us choose the right windows for our project that was in our budget. Clarity kept us well informed throughout the whole process and provided weekly updates. Arturo and his team arrived on time to install the windows. They did a great job on the installation. The best part is that he and his crew vacuumed/cleaned up after they were done. They didn’t leave any dust/dirt or trash. Thank you, Clarity Windows & Doors! We will definitely use y’all again!"

"My insurance agent recommended Mister Glass to me when I complained about the cost of window replacement in my recently purchased home.  I had already received two very similar quotes on the glass only for the house and a large bay window in the back of the home.  Addison with Mister Glass came out and measured all of my windows and talked about some of my options.  After receiving a much lower quote from Mister Glass a couple of days later, we decided to have Addison out to talk to us about upgrading our current glass (bronze colored) to Low-E.  The quote, again, was so reasonable that we had Mister Glass quote replacing the entire storefront systems and replacing them with a matte white mullion.  We're doing the project in phases and Mister Glass came out to triple check measurement on a new back door and side light that they're installing next week.  Everyone there is super friendly and have been helpful.  I'm actually really looking forward to updating this review after the install next week.   <br />"

"Two of 20 front exposure windows are not a standard shape window - not even when combining two standard shapes, which is what most "custom-shape" vendors do. J & M Website stated they did special custom shapes - that they excelled at it. When I called the company, the secretary put me on hold to check with the owner. I sent pics. They responded that they could not make the special-shaped windows. I posted that their website was misleading. The owner sent a message to contact him that they did do special shapes - hmm I thought she asked the owner - said his name was Martin. At that time I was working with three other vendors, so to be fair to Martin, I didn't call again. Alas, those vendors have not panned out either - seems fabricating custom shapes is not worth the trouble or involves a skill set and product that existed in 2000 but is a not easily found in 2016."

"Original aluminum windows had mostly lost their seals and were fogged. Heard about Dave so approached him to to replace a few of the worst windows, but after seeing the advantages of new windows and the reasonable cost (Renewal by Anderson quoted me over $50,000!) we decide to do all the windows. We had to order some custom windows due to the curved tops but they still were delivered by Alside within about 4 weeks and installation was schedule almost immediately. The install crew showed up on time and did a great job. Took their time to take out the old and install the new and finished in 2 days. I was very impressed with the crew! I especially liked that they had worked long term with Dave and when he stopped by to check on the status they obviously had a friendly relationship. New windows look great!"

"“On a scale of 1 to 5, I'm a '6-Star' reviewer. Kurt did such excellent job for us the first time that we didn’t even think of shopping around for someone else on the second job we needed done. His work ethic is par-excellent. He is very customer oriented, personable, conscientious, thorough, and detail oriented. For example: When one of the windows had been replaced by another contractor, the wood trim around the window outdoors needed to be touched up with paint after being slightly damaged by the installation. The window installer said he “doesn’t do paint, he only installs windows”. (Translation: “If you want it done, do it yourself or pay a paint contractor $65 to do a 5-minute job”. Yeah, right! - think I’d ever hire him to do anything for me again with that sorry attitude, or ever recommend him to anyone?) When Kurt saw that, he not only painted that trim, he also saw where I had caulked a 5-foot crack at the corner of the house a month earlier, but I hadn’t painted over it yet. He asked me if he could paint that too while he was at it, which he did even though he’s a window film installer, not a painter. That’s Customer Service - above and beyond the ‘call of duty’! Next, as he was driving away after he finished his job (window film application), he suddenly stopped, backed up, came back up to the house, and said he wanted to check one more time to make sure one corner of the opaque window film finally stuck permanently to the window. You talk about being conscience and detailed oriented – wow! I also completely agree with the 5-Star Reviews of the other reviewers, Dave, Jeff, and Jay.”"

"Everything about the company was excellent. Appointment was made, and the representative arrived on time fully prepared what services he could provide. The representative fully explained what my options were for new windows and what the process would be for installation. After agreeing to what I wanted, a contract was signed. And, the window installer then visited and again explained the process along with checking out anything that would be out of the ordinary. Windows were in front of a flower bed, and he said that he would install the windows without stepping on the flowers. The representative kept us fully informed about the time when the windows would be installed, and they were installed a day ahead of schedule. The windows were installed by two excellent workers. They were meticulous in removing the old windows and installing the new ones. After installation, all debris was removed and flower beds were the same as when they arrived. It was wonderful working with a company that did such good work. I definitely recommend them and would use them again for any window project."

"Smart Temp Windows is a customer-oriented quality company.  The owner, Tony, and his co-worker (Vladimir) were always on time and polite.  At the interview, Tony and Vladimir both listened to my questions and provided prototypes of the window manufacturers they recommend.  Brochures were provided for me to read later. <br /> Of the three window installer companies I interviewed, Tony was the only one who did not have a rehearsed sales pitch, and he was the most genuine.  <br /> Work was done in a timely manner, and the workmanship is excellent.  They cleaned up after each individual window installation.  They are very skilled workers and their workmanship and finished product proves their capabilities. <br /> I give them a 100% superb recommendation.  We are glad we chose them as our window installers. <br /> <br /> <br />"

FAQs for new windows service projects in Fort Worth, TX

Yes, bay windows add value to a home. They enhance the property by expanding the interior space and flooding rooms with natural light. Their unique three-panel design creates a stunning focal point that elevates curb appeal and modernizes living areas. This architectural detail increases both functional space and visual appeal, directly contributing to higher home resale value.

Yes, all window types have the potential to become part of a bay window configuration when modified correctly. The transformation involves reconfiguring standard windows into a multi-panel design that features a larger central window flanked by smaller ones. This process requires precise professional planning and custom framing to ensure durability, visual balance, and structural integrity.

Bay windows typically consist of three glass panels extending beyond the home's exterior walls, with a larger center panel flanked by two smaller ones. In contrast, bow windows are composed of four to six equally sized glass panels that create a gentle curve and do not extend as far from the exterior walls.

Bay windows cost more than standard windows because their expansive, multi-panel design requires additional materials and skilled labor. Their construction involves extra glass, specialized frame components that extend outward, and complex operating mechanisms. These technical demands necessitate precise engineering and multiple expert installations, thereby significantly increasing both material and labor expenses.

Bay windows cost three times more than standard double-hung windows because their design requires extra panels, expanded framing, and a more complex installation process. The advanced construction method increases material consumption and demands comprehensive expertise, while specialized window treatments further elevate expenses. This all results in a significant difference in overall project cost.
