"It went great. It had been several years since we last had our chimney cleaned. Despite their service area and pricing schedule changing, C&A still took the job and charged us the old price. Tim and his assistant were friendly, professional, thorough, and systematic in ensuring our fireplace and chimney was as clean and in as good repair as if it were their own. "Nu Look Home Services’ replaced my 31-year-old front door with two side windows unit. Nu Look Home Services’ sent two men, Zack and James to handle my job. They were professionally dressed and courteous. If there was a question as to how I wanted something done, they ask. There were three things that I did need to get done, reinstall my existing screen door, reinstall my doorbell & reinstall the door alarm, which they did. However, we did run into a major and a minor problem. The major problem was that 31 years ago my door opening was 82 inches wide and today’s door openings units are only 80 inches wide. This left a 1-inch gap on either side of the door frame unit. Zack and James had to reconstruct the perimeter of the door frame unit both inside and outside to make this unit look as if it was part of the original construction. Also, they found a piece of floorboard underneath the door frame that had rotted over time and replaced it. The minor problem was that my existing deadbolt lock and door handle were too small to fit the new holes in the door. Not only did they replace the deadbolt lock in my handle but they rekeyed the new locks with my old key so that I still have just one key for all the locks in my home. The job turned out to be a two-day job instead of a one-day job. They stayed with the job until it was completed. Nu Look Home Services employee’s people that have the knowledge and experience that when faced with an unexpected problem on the job, they know how to resolve the problems and make a professionally looking finished product. They were constantly using their vacuum cleaner to keep the installation area clean and the dust down. After the job was completed all the old material was hauled away in the jobsite was cleaned up. Use them again? You bet!"

"They did a wonderful job repairing the plaster wall behind my toilet. My home was built in 1929 and had a unique pattern in the original plaster that tried to mimic tile.  They were able to recreate that original look. Very pleasant and professional."

Matt Harden immediately took care of scheduling the repairs and promptly paying the vendors without any haggling/hassling. Peggy, the owner, has been a real professional to deal with. They will not be mowing after this season, so we'll need that service supplied by another vendor."

"I had two fairly large holes in my ceiling where a kitchen light had been replaced. Michael repaired the holes and even though the fresh paint did not match, the ceiling is repaired and I can now give the ceiling a fresh coat of paint. I had water damage in another room on the ceiling and down wall. He repaired and painted the wall and repaired and painted ceiling. Stains did reappear on the ceiling in the room with water damage and he came out and added another coat of paint to cover it up and it looks great. Michael Cleveland was prompt and professional."
