"The work that Leon Home repairs did was fantastic. They were so kind and understanding to my wife. They were always on time or I would get a call explaining why. This rarely happened though. Their work was top quality and I intend to use them to repair anything in the future on my home. Very Professional and top quality."

"Excellent! Matt and the team arrived with materials ready to go. The crew completed the gutters in one day! When the deck crew came out they worked quickly and executed the repair flawlessly. I'll hire Anova again for my next project!"

"Fantastic work. The gentlemen showed up on time and did a great job cleaning the gutters, cleaning surrounding area and taking photos of both before and after the work was done. I would highly recommend this vendor."

"Service provider said what we purchased was not enough to cover repairs needed, gave us a quote for $3,000 to replace the roof versus the $99 roof maintenance we'd bought. I can understand that it needed more extensive repairs, but had I wanted a quote to replace it versus repairing it, I'd have asked for it, and no attempt was made to offer the service purchased on other areas of the roof. I was unable to get a refund because it took over 30 days to get the provider out there. Provider did not offer a refund, only told me to go through Angie's List, who turned it down. So, I basically lost my $100."

"The provider brought a well organized team that worked so well together. They explained what they would do immediately on arrival at 8:30 AM. The first thing they did was protect our hardwood floors that go throughout the home except the bedrooms, moved all furniture to center of each room  and covered it with plastic. They communicated with us throughout the project and worked well together to give us a finished product we are so pleased with. The men were so friendly and considerate. They made sure we didn't have to leave our home by providing a bedroom we could use each evening and living space in our great room allowing us to relax and watch TV . They worked thru the day and left each evening about 6:00 PM. On the final day they walked us thru each room after they cleaned up and made sure furniture was returned to its proper place. We inspected each room to be sure we were satisfied. Any areas that needed corrections they took care of but these were small. We would highly recommend them for any project large or small. We are very glad we Churchill Painting."

"'B-/C+' is the real grading. He manages several non-English speaking crews and so the quality of varies and no recourse with the people performing the work. The jobs looks good from afar, but the details are lacking. Many houses here are built with a "carpenter's gap" (google it). The workers did not mention this to me or to James Taylor, the consequence is my roof continues to let in vermin and this is now much more expensive to fix (I offered to pay the difference to fix this, never heard back). The workers also slid down the shingles and there is shingle wear where they slid down on their butts. The roof is functioning correctly, although we have sealed a several popped nails. The siding install was just the siding, the quote apparently did not include painting/sealing where the trim butts up against the siding ( I was told this is standard practice, so now I have to get up on a ladder and paint this myself). I was glad house wrap was included, but the work was carelessly cut and not according to Tyvek's overlap specification nor fastening (see picture. Manufacturer specification specifies a 6" overlap (red dots) and washered fasteners). Billing was clear enough. Email/phone response times long."

"It went very well!!! Dana ran this as a turnkey operation. I left many of the design details to her. This is a family business with Dana’s husband Rex leading the installation. Within minutes of returning to the MLS, I had a contract on the townhouse for full price. The agent had been checking in on the progress of the remodel and was impressed with the work being done. My real estate agent also checked in and was pleased. I could not be happier with what they accomplished in a short amount of time. Dana was a “godsend” to me."

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Franklinton, NC

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
