"I was very pleased to hire Zen windows to replace my windows. It was a no hassle experience working with Brad. He quoted me a price and time that the windows would be installed and everything happened exactly as he promised. Very reputable and honest company to do business with unlike so many window installers that quote you one price and try to charge for extras. Would feel good recommending Zen windows to anyone that needed new windows."

"When we replaced our windows, we forgot about one window in the attic. So we called Hometowne and asked Mr Deitz if they would would replace one window. He said sure. So we had him come and measure for the replacement and discuss which brand of window to use. Bob suggested a Pella. He offered a great window with a great price. While we were taking we asked about exterior storm doors. Bob offered some suggestions for brands of doors also. We went with the Provia. A little expensive but very good doors. The installation went without a problem. And we were very happy with the window and doors. The doors have a dead bolt so they can be locked from the outside with a key. We can now lock the storm door and keep the inside door open. It has much better weather stripping than our old ones did."

"We had two double pane casement widows that needed repair - in one one of the panes was broken, and in the other there was a bad seal that allowed it to fill with condensation and mold. It took a few days from the time we called before someone could come to the house, measure the windows and prepare an estimate. They charge $60 to do this, but, credit it toward the final price if you accept their estimate and authorize the work. It was necessary to order replacements from the factory and so it was about two weeks after the estimate before the repair could be completed. The replacement took about two hours. The work was efficiently done, it looks as good as new. Both the man who came out to do the initial estimate and the man who replaced the glass were personable and efficient. For both appointments we were given a one-hour time period in which we were told to expect them. The man who came to do the estimate was about a half an hour late, but the man who came to do the repair arrived at the expected time. While i got no other estimates with which to to compare it, the price charged seemed reasonable to me, I was very pleased with the service and the quality of the work. I would contact them gain should the need arise."

"It was a fantastic business experience. They did a great job, very professional. Jim, the owner was super kind and he kept a fluent communication with me. They took all seven old windows and installed 7 new block windows in 2 and half hours. They clean the whole basement afterwards. I would totally hire this company again."

"Everything was handled so well with the first 2 windshields that it was an easy decision when we unfortunately had to replace the windshield on our sons car. Getting a quote was easy, the installers were very professional and on time. We ran one of the replacements through insurance and they handled that for us as well."

"We needed replacements windows for two large picture windows and a garage window for our 60s split level. Our friends recommended Exact, who had replaced the windows in their home. We were not disappointed! John came out right away and was great to work with through the whole process. He was patient and provided multiple quotes in a timely manner. Pricing was in line with our budget and after viewing the sample product, we decided to replace 8 of our other old, drafty windows. Exact went out of their way to get the measuring right and to help choose window types and styles. They suggested a picture window to replace the set of double hungs we had in the garage (which we had never opened). Also, Paul made a special trip to show me interior wood colors, as I had one window that required a wood finish(the rest we kept white). Once we were ready to go, the windows were ordered and a few weeks later delivered. The installation took a little over a day and a half. Great crew of guys. They worked really well together. I had a concern about the way the windows would be trimmed out on the exterior on the second floor. Paul came up with a way to beef them up so they popped more. The crew was on time and very tidy. They took extra care adding insulation and trimming out the interior woodwork around the two large picture windows. Beautiful job, especially like the extra wide sills (our cat just loves them). They hauled away the old windows - same day, so no mess. All in all, we are just in love with all the new windows. They have really dressed up the curb appeal, improved energy efficiency (no drafts) and made our home more comfortable, beautiful and modern. We highly recommend Exact!"

"From first contact with the company via phone, while Jeff was in our home going over the product options and pricing, when door was being installed, and other communications with their company they were professional, personable, and everything was done with high quality and punctuality.  <br>Very respectful while in our house, detail oriented, and efficient. <br>Price was good (we had other companies come out and give us quotes and some were 40% higher then Q.W.) <br>I would HIGHLY recomend this company to anyone needing windows, doors, etc. <br> <br>"

"We had this company install glass block windows in the late 1980's or early 1990's.  The work was well done. We were pleased. In Feb. 2015, we had basement foundation work done.(by another company) and they needed to have ventilation in the basement due to all of the dust.  They lost the glass inserts to our glass blocks vents.  So all we had was a screen to the out side.  It is cold  here in Wisconsin and having your basement windows open is a bad idea.  I called Quick Set Panels to (as they had originally installed the window) to see if I could get a replacement cover.  They no longer make them but was told I could replace the vents.  I was told vents would cost $175.00 each.  I have 5 windows and that would have been expensive.  But Scott came over to see what I needed to fix the situation.  He was honest and said I could go to the local hardware  store and get plexiglass to cover it.  The plexiglass works just fine and it only cost me $9.00 total.  I would recommend this company highly. <br />"

FAQs for new windows service projects in Franksville, WI

Yes, bay windows add value to a home. They enhance the property by expanding the interior space and flooding rooms with natural light. Their unique three-panel design creates a stunning focal point that elevates curb appeal and modernizes living areas. This architectural detail increases both functional space and visual appeal, directly contributing to higher home resale value.

Yes, all window types have the potential to become part of a bay window configuration when modified correctly. The transformation involves reconfiguring standard windows into a multi-panel design that features a larger central window flanked by smaller ones. This process requires precise professional planning and custom framing to ensure durability, visual balance, and structural integrity.

Bay windows typically consist of three glass panels extending beyond the home's exterior walls, with a larger center panel flanked by two smaller ones. In contrast, bow windows are composed of four to six equally sized glass panels that create a gentle curve and do not extend as far from the exterior walls.

Bay windows cost more than standard windows because their expansive, multi-panel design requires additional materials and skilled labor. Their construction involves extra glass, specialized frame components that extend outward, and complex operating mechanisms. These technical demands necessitate precise engineering and multiple expert installations, thereby significantly increasing both material and labor expenses.

Bay windows cost three times more than standard double-hung windows because their design requires extra panels, expanded framing, and a more complex installation process. The advanced construction method increases material consumption and demands comprehensive expertise, while specialized window treatments further elevate expenses. This all results in a significant difference in overall project cost.
