"Being a MVP customer was time for Heating/Cooling safety inspections. Kevin Stanley was the HVAC Service Tech assigned to the job. He went over a few issues on our older unit he found during his inspection. I never felt pressured to have the work done and so glad he resolved them on the same day. He definitely went out of his way doing a great job. He explained everything to me that he was doing and also answering all the questions I had. The price was reasonable. Will definitely call Appleton Campbell when needing home repairs, this is our 3rd project they’ve taken care of. Thanks again"

"I called to get an inspection done on my AC unit and was quoted $90 for the inspection plus $120 an hr for ADDITIONAL hrs. I ASKED when do I know when the “additional hrs start”, He stated that the tech would let me know once the inspection was done and then at that time he would let me know if there was work that needed to be fixed or if there was nothing then the service would end and I would only have to pay the $90. They charged me $210 for the inspection. I called and requested that we both listen to the call (Because all calls are recorded) They played the call, heard what the rep said and then stated they would get back to me. When I finally reached them again (they never called me back), they stated I would not get a refund, then replayed the call cutting out the part when the rep stated clearly that the service was only $90. They not only GASLIGHTED me, but they altered the recording. $120 may not matter to most but it sure matters to me."

"Holtzople installed a geothermal system in 2013 to replace our heating oil furnace and electric air conditioning unit. Boy did that cut our heating and cooling bill way down! This review is about the recent semi-annual service maintenance visit. Shout out to Kevin the technician who is friendly, professional and focused. He gets right down to business and is quiet as a mouse as he thoroughly goes through the extensive maintenance checklist and performs all required tasks. He then takes the time to fully brief us on what he did what he found and what if anything he recommends. He then opens it up for questions and is very patient and thorough in answereing any questions we might have. Hint: he's also an expert on anything Disney World if you might be thinking about visiting there.... We highly recommend Holtzople, a great company, because they really do take care of us."

"Rob was great from the estimate visit, to estimate delivery, and in coordinating the installation appointment (had to sub-contract in a roofer). On the day of service, Rob and Austin arrived on time (as did the roofers) and made quick work of the installation. It seems a rarity to find truly knowledgeable and friendly contractors that are both prompt and excellent communicators. This experience shined on all fronts. Will definitely be using Tim Kyle again. "On Wednesday, 08/28/2024, I used the Angi app because my AC unit was not coming on and had a red light and I had suspected a compressor. Rocky HVAC came to inspect the AC unit. They told me that it had a leak and that they would fix the leak and then add freon for a total of $1,150.00, including a diagnostic fee of $75.00, which I paid same day (08/28/2024). The next day (Thursday, 08/29/2024) I called the provider and asked them to go ahead and repair the unit. They later called me and said that they had fixed it and requested payment. I paid the requested amount of 1,075.00 upon they claim of repairs, but then just a few hours later, my tenant called me that the unit was not working, and that the property was very hot. I called back Rocky HVAC on Friday, 08/30/2024 and explained to them that the unit was not working. They said that they would call me back and after waiting for several hours without getting a call back, I called again and this time they said that they will send someone back to the property. Rocky HVAC finally came the next day (Saturday, 08/31/2024) and upon looking at the unit, they told my tenant that the unit needs to be replaced. When I go to the property, my tenant relayed the information to me, so I called Rocky HVAC and asked why I was not told from the storm art that fixing a freon leak was never an option, but rather replacing the entire unit. They claimed that they had said so but it is extremely disingenuous because if they had ever mentioned that I needed a new unit, I would not have wasted time and money to fix something else. I asked them for a refund of $1,150.00, but they are instead telling me that they would rather credit me $500.00 towards a new unit."

"I contacted Bluestar Air Mechanical for a second opinion after an appointment with Air One. I have a Carrier HVAC system, and the Air One technician recommended a complete system replacement, claiming the blower was bad, the furnace control board needed replacing, and that there were other issues. Since replacing the HVAC is a big investment, I wanted to get a second opinion. It was only after comparing the service from Bluestar that I realized Air One may have been pushing for a new system sale or lacked the expertise to properly diagnose and repair the actual problems. Isaac, the technician from Bluestar, spent about an hour thoroughly diagnosing and fixing the issues. He found burnt wiring in the furnace and discovered that the wrong capacitor had been incorrectly installed in the AC. Isaac replaced the burnt wiring in the furnace and the capacitor in the AC. After these repairs, my Carrier system was back up and running—without the need for a costly replacement. Bluestar, and Isaac in particular, demonstrated professionalism, expertise, and honesty. They focused on resolving the actual issues instead of pushing for an unnecessary system replacement. I highly recommend Bluestar for their reliable service and Isaac’s thorough and knowledgeable work."
