"Had an "accident" where a bicycle was not blocking the sensor light but when the garage door closed the sensors were not at the proper setting so when the garage door closed one of the panels were crushed and it looked like the entire garage door needed to be replaced.
Bill came out promptly at the agreed upon time, and felt that he could replace the one panel instead of having to replace the entire garage door which is what I was expecting that I would have to do.
I was also thinking of replacing the pair of garage doors since the trim kit was out of style and Bill indicated that I would not need to replace the entire door (or pair of garage doors), but that he could replace the trim pieces so I now have an updated pair of garage doors, with sensors properly set so that if they encounter a bicycle or anything else they will not cause any damage, plus he serviced both garage doors which had not been done in the 15+ years that they were in place.
When he was finished, all you saw was the finished product, there were no signs that a contractor had just been working there and if anything the area was cleaner than when I left for work that morning.
Would strongly recommend Bill, as he is one of those contractors that every homeowner is searching for that will do a very professional job, and at the same time recognize that the average NJ homeowner does not a surplus amount of cash so he will offer alternative approaches to accomplishing the desired end result.
Wish I had a "Bill" for every job that needs to get done at our home.
