"Our house was in bad shape-the foundation had been sinking for years. Most interior and 2 exterior doors no longer opened, the garage was separating along the walls and roof, and all our walls had cracks in them. I heard of Legacy Supportworks at a home show-that's where I met Nick, their spokesperson. He came to our house, did a thorough inspection and explained the process so I was able to understand what was needed. The price was most reasonable and less than I expected. The production crew called before they arrived, arrived on time, and worked an entire 8-6 day. During the process, the production crew took great care with the landscaping and surrounding yard, sidewalks and driveway, then cleaned up any mess made. The production crew gentlemen (and everyone I have spoken with) were polite-no profanity- honest, trustworthy, no smoking, introduced themselves, etc. They went above and beyond their job responsibilities For example, at our house, because the doors had not opened for so long, the screws were warped. The foreman replaced the screws, at his own initiative. One gentleman, after work, saw an elderly lady down the block struggling to mow her yard, and went down and mowed it for her. Because they worked so hard, they were able to finish a day ahead of schedule. We are thrilled to be able to open the doors, have level floors and no longer need to worry about the garage falling apart. I have, and will continue to, recommend Legacy Supportworks. "The overall dealings with them have been excellent so far. They came out but they have a really nice folder with their name and foundation solutions. They have been in business a long time. He did a very detailed drawing of the house with where the tiers would go. Theirs was a much more reasonable plan. Price is a little high. He had to cancel the first appointment. He said they had an emergency out of town with a company. He apologized over and over. He was articulate. Answered every since question without any hesitancy. He showed us a video online about the company and how they are installing piers in a persons home."

"They came when theyl said they would. They first installed the waterproofing system with a sump pump. The job seems to be well done, though we have not had enough rain to test the system. They then put up a bright wall covering. They did not finish the edges around the windows and some of the other work was shoddy. In spite of repeated calls, they never came back. Also, they said they would give me an estimatae on windows for the basement. Again, in spite of repeated promises, they never followed up. Very disappointing. <br />"

"Everything went great. Danny Gomez came out and gave me a quote. He was quite a bit friendlier than other contractors who had come out and bid the same job. He showed up when he said he would and gave me a good estimate. I felt more comfortable with his design and price than the other guys I had out. He gave me some pictures of his previous work to show my wife. <br /> <br /> The job was completed on time and on budget, with no overages. There were a few weather delays, but they worked even when it was freezing outside. His crew was very friendly, and they handled the dumpster and permits. They spent nearly an entire day just on cleanup and leveling after they were done building the wall and putting the fence up. <br /> <br /> My wife was very impressed with the look of the natural stone. <br /> <br /> Overall, it went way smoother than I thought."

"They performed the service this August. He was good while he was here, but he left some things undone and he has not been here since then. I have called him several times. He does not come this way very often. I am waiting for him to come back and finish up. He did good work. He did not put the skirting back like he should have. He has clean up work to do."

FAQs for concrete injection leveling mudjacking projects in Fritch, TX

Mudjacking and foam jacking differ significantly in both materials and methods. Mudjacking uses a cement-based slurry to fill voids beneath a slab, while foam jacking uses expanding polyurethane foam delivered under high pressure to achieve superior structural support. This material distinction enhances load-bearing strength and overall stability in your repair.

Mudjacking takes between one and three days to dry completely. During this time, it's important to avoid putting weight on the slab until it's fully cured. The drying time depends on the project size and environmental conditions. In contrast, polyurethane foam used in foam jacking can cure in as little as one hour.

No, mudjacking is not a permanent fix for sinking concrete. While it effectively lifts the slab and can last five to 10 years, it doesn't address underlying soil issues that may cause future sinking. For a more permanent solution, you might consider foam jacking or complete slab replacement, which can address deeper structural problems.
