"Excellent. The installer that came was Willie R. My main request was install the faucet that I'd purchased earlier. And he that professionally and all is good on that front. However, I want to add that I am expecting to tackle a big plumbing job ("repiping") early next year and I had a number of questions on that type of job. Willie and I discussed this for about a half hour prior to him tackling the install. He answered all my questions and provided some good insight to that type of job. Additionally, estimates were made and delivered electronically for both the install job and the "future" repiping job prior to any work being done. All-in-All, I am pleased with Show Plumbing, and the tech - Willie - for the work done and the manner in which it was provided."

"I originally called Nick's Plumbing to fix a kitchen faucet that I could not fix myself. David had it repaired in about 5 minutes. I was embarrassed that I couldn't figure it out myself. I figured that while he was there, I'd ask some questions about our hot water supply. He checked our water heater to find it was 12 years old. It had never been serviced. The 12 years of sediment build up explained poor hot water supply. I asked about replacing with another tank and the cost for a tankless system. It was about 2½ times more expensive to put in a tankless system. The 40 gallon water heater was in our attic. The thought of a leak in tank, and the possibility of 40 gallons drenching the house - and the continued water supply trying to fill the leaking tank - was the 1st thought that came to mind. I'm looking towards retirement soon with no regular paycheck to replace a water heater. I asked myself "if I'm going to replace a water heater in the next 2 to 5 years, isn't NOW the time to do it?" We are planning to retire in our current home. The tankless system seemed to make sense for us now and into the next 10 to 20 years. I plan to have THIS hot water system regularly serviced so that we get more than 12 years use out of it. David and Jorge got all the parts and materials to replace the old water heater with the new tankless system. This included replacing the roof vent - tankless requires something different than a tank. I was home when they initially arrived and when we negotiated the replacement. I had to leave for work but my wife was there while they worked. She said they departed about 4 pm so it was an all - day job. Nobody replaces their water heater on a whim. Something bad has to happen - like a leak or no hot water. I got lucky. I replaced my hot water heater by talking to an experienced plumber about annoying issues. "Called at 8 am Saturday and on call plumber said he had a scheduled appointment but would be able to make the repair Saturday afternoon. Upon arrival he removed the insulation and found that the pipe had separated at the connector. JD Plumbing had repaired the pipe in January 2018 after the pipe froze and burst. The plumber, Sean, pointed out that the repair they made had separated but said since it was past the one year warranty he would need to call his manager to see what could be done on price. Sean made he call, sent a picture of the broken pipe and, after a second discussion, advised that the repair (normally $399) would be made at no charge even though we were past their warranty. This company is responsive, honest, and provides great customer service."

But this time, Preston poked a long screw driver into the dirt to determine where the line exited the slab, filled and emptied the washing machine to judge how bad the blockage was, THEN ran the snake. Afterwards he re-filled and emptied the washing machine and showed me that the water was flowing freely, and explained that the obstruction was beneath the middle of the house, rather than a tree root in the back yard.
