"A&W representatives were very professional and provided us with a clear explanation of the damage and the options for repair. A&W worked directly with our home insurance company to verify the full cost of the roof replacement and that it would be fully covered under our insurance policy. The roof was replaced in one day. Their was a minor issue with the quality of the fascia that was replaced on one side of the house but it was resolved satisfactorily in a timely manner. I would not hesitate to recommend A&W to anyone needing roof repair work."

"Well pleased. Was very hot the day of the repair and the two men seem not to be bothered by the heat."

"I had some siding repair work that needed to be done. Mike and his crew did a great job. I would definitely recommend them to for any siding project."

"I am very pleased with the siding repair that was done on Saturday. The guys are very nice and the job was done on the same day that I was given a quote for the work to be done. Any future work that needs to be done, I will definitely contact Compton Family Siding Repair again. I highly recommend them."

"GCS did an excellent job executing a pretty complicated project. I would definitely recommend them to a friend. The bid that Dennis provided was very detailed and thorough. He came by several times to take measurements and ask questions about our intentions and goals for the project. He also had his electrical and HVAC subcontractors contact us to gather information about the project. It took about two weeks for the bid to be completed, which caused us to get a little impatient, but the final result was far more complete and thorough than any of the other bids we received. The cost was also very competitive. Work started soon after we signed the contract. Dennis did a very good job of coordinating the the tasks, including bringing the various subcontractors to the site in a timely manner, and within about 6 weeks we had the foundations poured and the basic framing done on the 8'x10' kitchen addition and the 16'x20' 1st floor bedroom/basement addition. Dennis' team were receptive to the changes to the plan (there will always be changes to the plan) that we asked for. The changes were documented, invoiced and priced reasonably. There was a lot of inside work to perform, so that took another 3 months or so. Insulation, drywalling, drywall finishing, carpet removal and installation, removal of the old kitchen cabinets and appliances, etc. Again, Dennis did a good job of scheduling the various specialists to come in and do their thing. Dennis was very responsive to any issues or concerns that came up through text messaging or by phone. Problems: Main issue was that the pace of work in the middle of the project was slower than we would have liked. This was mostly an issue with one individual worker. Overall: We are very happy with the results of the project and would recommend GCS highly. Attached picture is of the kitchen interior just prior to completion. It is exactly what we had envisioned."

"My insurance adjuster referred me to Premier Restoration after a pipe burst between my first and second floor bathrooms and extensive pipe replacement was completed. It was such a relief to hand over the rebuilding work to them.  My initial contact was Jeff, who did a great job first of providing explanations of the process and then of coordinating the project, following up, trouble-shooting, and supporting me when I had questions or concerns.  Scott and Giovanni were a terrific work team--hard-working, good-humored, and trustworthy.  Special praise to Scott, who did such a beautiful job on the 2nd floor bathroom--including installing a new tile floor and rebuilding most of the drywall--that it now feels positively spa-like in there.  He is an amazing craftsman.  I really appreciated everyone at Premier Restoration who helped me out during a difficult time and on a complicated project like this one.

"The timeline was the biggest problem.  The time it took contractor to finish the project was nearly 2.5 months from start to (almost) finish, with a single bathroom in the house. During this time, there were 2 holidays (Christmas and New Year's) and some days of inclement weather which would have prevented anyone from traveling (~3 in all). However, there was one entire week that I was on travel and returned to find zero progress had been made in that amount of time.
The original estimate was $2,500 for labor only for the bathroom. There were additional items that surfaced throughout the renovation which added scope to the project that increased the labor to nearly $3,700. I provided all material for the project.
Contractor requested milestone payments in advance of work being completed, to include final payment, which was made with promise from Contractor that he would return to fix minor "nit-pick" items, which never did take place. I have had to perform those items myself.
Contractor would set tools in bathtub and on top of porcelain toilet, which resulted in scratches in both. In retrospect I would have requested him to place pads down.
Contractor also did not lay down anything to protect the floors in the house from outside elements that were brought in on his boots (snow/rain), and that was then mixed with debris and dust from  the construction. This made it extremely difficult to clean the floors.
Overall, the bathroom looks nice. When looking in detail, however, once can see where craftsmanship/attention to detail is lacking due to a rush to complete the project.

"I received 2 other quotes before I contacted him that I absolutely could not do.  I kept getting told that because my home was so old and the door was original to the house that it had to be custom built along with the frame and would cost thousands of dollars.  I just could not accept that.  Richard came out quickly and looked at my door and told me he would have it done within the week and he absolutely did.  He found the parts he needed and replaced the doors and replaced some of the framing within 2 days.  It was a lot of work to do.  He and his other man were very polite and professional and I would use them again.

"Contractor was very professional.  Great communication, returned calls promptly and met appointments on schedule.  Work was completed within a very reasonable timeframe, earlier than expected.  Work was done above expectations, especially carpentry on back  porch.
Contractor was very familiar and experienced with particular construction and common problems with the houses in the area.
Explained what needed to be done and made very helpful suggestions as to what should be done by the contractor and what could be done by home owner.  Along with making suggestions on how to save money on the projects and what to do to make the home last.
Very pleasant experience.  Would definitely work with them in the future."

"The process from start to finish was absolutely fantastic. Katie was wonderful to work with. She was extremely knowledgeable about the entire process, and she walked me through it before we even started to make sure I didn't have any questions. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone in need of roofing or siding work."
