"I hired RLD Builders to construct a retaining wall that needed replaced before we could repave the driveway. RLD Builders came in with a competitive price and won the job. What was to take a few weeks turned into a three month ordeal. The county permit process caused hurdle after hurdle to get the permits but Rafe kept on the county and we finally got the permits and the job was completed to our satisfaction. We then put the house on the market for sale and had moved to our new out-of-the-area location. The hot water tank in the basement decided to let loose causing major damage to the basement. This is where RLD Builders exceeded our expectations. Rafe and his crew jumped in and cleaned up the water damage, worked with the insurance agents to get approvals, and completely rebuilt our basement. Being that we were no longer in the area, it was a blessing to have RLD Builders on the job to take care of all the details. We couldn't have done it without them. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE ! ! !"

"I signed a contract for work to be completed in 4 weeks. 4 Months later, work was finally (mostly) done - but only with extreme nagging on my part and excessive excuses and push back. The contractor only came to the project site if his sub-contractors created an issue (which was often). They dropped my A/C unit down a 10 foot hole, they didn't finish half the projects they said they would and completed the other half incorrectly based on hand drawings and gestures because neither the contractor or I could speak the same language as the sub-contractors, they made promises to show up and never did. Worst of all, they used design plans from a previous contractor that were approved by the city - but didn't use those plans and never updated the plans. The city inspector came and did not pass the project due to this discrepancy, but Vladimir told me it had passed. The city told me the permit expired. So - now Vladimir won't answer my emails and I have to pay someone else to fix it all."

I doubt there are many honest and trustworthy GC companies like URC. URC recently finished building our home addition (three levels out and up/about 3000 sf) and renovating/remodeling our existing house. This was a huge project - think of it as building a new house- . Simply put, they are amazing to work with despite the difficulties that came with this big project and the fact that I am a very picky customer. They explain everything upfront in as much detail as you want. They are professional, accommodating, and patient as I continued to tweak and change many things in the project- They are very creative and never run out of ideas and options to choose from. I am very pleased with both the experience and the finished product. Last but not least, URC offers no interest financing, thing I haven't seen nor heard of before in the GC biz!"

He set up a date and time and arrived promptly. He rapidly diagnosed my issue and was able to repair it quickly. I also asked him what I could do and he walked me thru maintenance I can do so I do not have a similar issue again. I immediately hired him to also upgrade my door opener (my current opener is long in the tooth and I wanted to get a more modern and reliable opener. His prices are more than fair. He had a low fee for the diagnosis and the repairI will hire him again and so should you!"
