I sent out requests for a price estimate to multiple companies and David got back to me first. He was available same day for a free consultation. He was prompt, polite and professional. After assessing the damage done to my water heater, we talked over a few possibilities based on my finances. It appeared the whole thing would need to be replaced so he offered to search for gently used water heaters. David got back with me within a week and said that he had researched ways to repair the current damage and that it was worth trying. I told him to go for it because worst case scenario, we replace it as we originally planned. He was at my house the next day and successfully repaired the damage, saving me a ton of money not having to buy a new one. He also offered multiple types of payment (so if you always have cash, never have cash, or want touch free only through an app, you have lots of options)I am so happy with his work and responsiveness! I called their office around 1pm today because I noticed that my water heater was badly corroded and leaking into the safety pan. I chose them because they had good yelp reviews compared to some other companies that do more marketing. The young woman Morgan, that took my call was very professional and told me that someone could come out between 2-5pm. I also called another company, Texas Master Plumber, to get a quote because they were rated highly on Angie's List. Of course, they both show up with 15 mins of each other. Initially, TMP shows up to the wrong house and their secretary calls me to ask why I'm not there. I walk outside and see them halfway down the block. TMP winds up giving me a quote that is $200 more for a less reputable brand water heater than Smart Choice Plumbers. I was also very impressed they wore shoe covers out of respect for my floors and were able to install it the same day. From the time I made the first call to the time they left after completing the installation, it was 4 hours. That is very impressive!! The installation was installed up to the latest plumbing codes and I could tell Carlos was very knowledgeable. It is obvious he enjoys what he does based on his very professional like workmanship.

Renovations.  The owner of the company came by on both visits and unlike many companies today he took his appointment time very seriously.  On the first visit he was running approximately 5 minutes behind schedule and yet he called to let us know he was on his way. Not only was he on-time for the estimate, he showed up exactly when he said he would for both jobs and after doing outstanding work he cleaned the area thoroughly before leaving.  He and his workers were very professional and friendly throughout the job and the results were of high quality.
After seeing the way D.R. Renovations worked on the first job of replacing the damaged sheet rock, there was no doubt that we wanted them to also install the new hardwood flooring.  We were very pleased to learn that they also did flooring work and as was the case with the first repair, they showed up within 1 minute of the appointment time and finished the job within one day.  For anyone that needs general Handyman work done or a renovation of a kitchen or bathroom in N. Harris County or Montgomery County, this is the company I would recommend.  We plan to do more renovation in the near future and D.R. Renovations will be the provider we call.  They were fantastic!!
