We are planning to retire in our current home. The tankless system seemed to make sense for us now and into the next 10 to 20 years. I plan to have THIS hot water system regularly serviced so that we get more than 12 years use out of it. David and Jorge got all the parts and materials to replace the old water heater with the new tankless system. This included replacing the roof vent - tankless requires something different than a tank. I was home when they initially arrived and when we negotiated the replacement. I had to leave for work but my wife was there while they worked. She said they departed about 4 pm so it was an all - day job. Nobody replaces their water heater on a whim. Something bad has to happen - like a leak or no hot water. I got lucky. I replaced my hot water heater by talking to an experienced plumber about annoying issues. I found a plumber who was available on an urgent notice. This was pre 4th of July but he came out to look at the job to see what was going on. He never mentioned the price of the job on the phone. When he diagnosed the problem, he said it was $250. I told him that was really pricey for just replacing a Moen valve in the faucet. He said the price is actually $280 but he was giving me a cut and that he's never gone down that low in price. I signed his contract after the job was complete and he left. The provider was Ruben Reyes."
