"We were very happy with the punctuality and responsiveness of A1. Steve emailed us a bid which broke down the areas which needed repaired giving us a price for each. Ultimately we decided to have all of the bid work done. We let them use their own judgement in rebuilding the front entryway in a manner similar to the original design. What they built was of the same style but is somewhat smaller and simpler (in a good way - fewer seams, less angled surfaces) and should be much easier to maintain. Most of the rest of the work was pretty straight forward wood rot repair adding horizontal cedar boards where the siding was rotting at the bottom. There was a fairly extensive amount of this sort of work and of course it all had to be painted afterwards. The only issue that came up was with the color of the trim around our front windows and garage. They originally matched their trim paint to a piece of trim on the house but we had wanted it matched to some paint we had leftover from the previous owners. When we pointed this out the mismatch with our expectations they were gracious about it and quickly fixed the issue. We are happy with the final product and would hire A1 again."

"I purchased the Big Deal for this. There was an extra cost involved that I was not aware of. Maybe it was in the fine print, but regardless, I needed the job done, so we went ahead with it.  We had done this job ourselves once and it didn't last very long. I also needed a tiny little tab to stabilize the shower door & couldn't find that missing tab anywhere, but this company provided it. :)
First, an appointment was made to see what work was was needed (that's when I found out my Bid Deal didn't cover the job), then another appointment was made to have the cleaning done. 
The man who came out to do the work did a nice job. He used a pressure washer to clean & cleaned and redid  the grout around multiple tiles. He worked by himself & it took him a long time. I was told it does not normally take as long as it did for us, but he did not have a partner that day, for what is normally a 2 person job. 
Over a year later, and our shower grout & tiles still look very, very, nice.

He cleaned up immaculately every day and took extreme care with house owner belongings. For instance, when moving around the house, he made sure his tools and work were clear of property. "When rehabbing our new home, we contacted Castle Rock for a bid on new windows, soffit, and fascia board.  The salesperson, Matt, responded immediately to our request to meet and review the various product options.  He was punctual, very courteous, and knowledgeable about the full array of products the company carries.  In addition to printed materials describing the products, the software he had that allowed us to compare various options, styles, pricing, etc. was very helpful.  Matt came to the house two more times as we explored various options for replacing the existing windows and looking at various configurations that would fir in the existing casements and where we were replacing a door with windows.  His knowledge and experience were invaluable to us from a design perspective while working toward "the look" we wanted for the home.  We then went to the showroom and met with the Manager, Jamie.  He was also very helpful and showed us all of the options and styles we were considering "hands-on".  We did look at other companies but decided working with Castle Rock was our best option.  Matt ordered all of the windows and other materials and everything arrived within the scheduled time frame.  Matt worked with our General Contractor to arrange for the materials to be delivered and installed in a manner that facilitated the project staying on track and not disrupting other contractors.  The windows arrived and were perfectly installed on the date promised.  The installers did an excellent job.  The soffit and fascia work went similarly and we had discussions with Matt about some ways to improve the installation as the job was underway and the work order was adjusted accordingly.  After all the work was complete, we ran into two minor issues.  With the heat and drought, a couple pieces of the soffit separated slightly due to the backing to which they were attached moving.  We called Matt, he came and looked at it, and a repair was completed within a week on the day he promised.  The work looks perfect again.  We also had a small circular ding in one of the windows (possibly from debris hitting it during a storm?).  When we called Matt and asked him how to proceed with the warranty, he told us how to find the serial number on the window and to call the office.  They ordered the replacement window that day under the warranty.  It arrived quickly and we went and picked it up and installed the replacement-a perfect fit.  Start to finish, Matt and his colleagues at Castle Rock did a great job for us and they will always be our first choice for the types of services they provide that we may need."

As with most home owners going through the process of a renovation, we performed our due diligence and met with five different companies/contractors over a period of two months.  We entertained and enjoyed hearing the varying sales concepts and design ideas all while trying to adhere to a budget with which we were comfortable.  Paul Young, owner of Young Remodeling, was our fourth contact and, in all reality, was our last.  His approach to the job at hand was both methodical and efficient, yet hands on and personal.  After all, it is his name on the business cards and it clearly showed in the pride he takes in his work....THANK YOU PAUL!!!!
After making our decision, we were assigned a designer (chosen by Paul based on our needs) to begin the process of fabricating the kitchen of our dreams.  Jenny was an absolute delight to work with and simply understood my wife and I from the very first meeting.  We met with her many times over the course of 4-6 weeks as we reviewed the various designs, narrowed down choices, and then finally came up with the final rendition.  She not only created the designs but also helped us choose from the myriad of material available (granite, back splash, tile, color schemes, etc). I would feel remiss if we did not mention that her computer renditions (numerous and accurate) were enjoyable to view and likely a great deal of work....THANK YOU JENNY!!!!
Once the design was complete, the structural engineer approved, and the city gave blessing on the design, we were assigned to Rex, who was the next important stage of the project.  Rex was our project manager who became the "go to" contact throughout the remainder of the renovation journey but was in no way isolated from Paul or Jenny.  Rex, in short, was simply amazing. He kept everyone (from permits, demolition, plumbing, electrical, drywall, ceiling repair, flooring, painting, cabinet install, granite install, appliance install) on a schedule and over the course of our 10-12 week renovation, we never varied from the "master schedule" but by a day or so.  We cannot say anything regarding Rex and his work ethic except for "Stellar Job"....THANK YOU REX!!!!
Behind the scenes of all the work done were the hardworking crews of the individual disciplines.  Each and every one of the crews involved in our renovation not only acted and performed in the most professional manner but are deserving of the same THANKS as the rest.  We would like to acknowledge the Demolition crew, the Framing /Building crew (Jamie, Jeff and Cody), the Drywall/Ceiling crew (Matt and his father), the Plumbing Crew, the Flooring crew (Carlos and his team), the Cabinet Install crew (Charlie and his team), the Granite install team (Evolve), and the Painting crew (Brent and his team)....THANK YOU ALL!!!!
