"We expanded a ground floor family room, which required complete exterior and interior construction, with stacked stone to match existing exterior. Existing plumbing, electrical, and duct work had to be moved around. The room has a 5x10 closet with pull-down attic door and insulted attic above. A bay build-out added space to our dining room, and we added a walk-in pantry to the kitchen. Materials were included in the total price but not broken out. The contractor underestimated either the amount of stone needed or the cost of the (available) stone required to match the existing exterior. He covered about $400 of the additional materials cost; we covered about $1000 at his request. Lesson learned: In the contract, stipulate the dollar amount designated for special materials. Other than that and some slow downs due to occasional absent workers, the job went as planned and we're happy with the result. We appreciated the daily clean-up as it was a lengthy project and just living with the upheaval was at times a challenge. Mark had a cleaning crew come one weekend to help keep things in order."

"This is an older house that hadn't been painted for a number of years. The crew did a meticulous job of prepping the exterior before painting, including replacing boards that had water damage. The crew was punctual, very courteous, and highly professional. They did a thorough job of applying paint, then went over the job with a fine-tooth comb to be sure it was up to their standards. This inspection resulted in re-sanding and repainting a few boards that did not have the appearance they wanted. When the job was finished the crew did an excellent job of cleaning up the work site. I would not hesitate to recommend The Premier Handyman and will call on them again for my next project."

"I first made contact with Dias Painting after several attempts to get other companies to do the work I needed.  Michael Dias and his brother Tommy Dias came out on a weekend, to meet with me and discuss all the necessary repairs to my cabin.  They offered helpful advice on selecting a quality stain to use and thoroughly explained what would be necessary to get the wood on my cabin back to great condition. <br /> They were quick on providing me a quote for the job.  I hired them immediately and within a week or so, they were able to get my job on the schedule.  After several delays due to rain, Michael, Tommy and their helper Ed began my job.  They showed up promptly each morning. <br /> The 1st day they removed alot of items from my porch and pressure washed the cabin.  A few days later when the cabin dried, they began staining.  My cabin had not been stained in several years but after they completed all the staining, it looks BETTER THAN NEW!  They did an excellent job and were very neat.  They have been very patient with me, as I have continued adding jobs to their list. <br />  Since they started working at my home, I've had them install some ceiling fans, added on staining railings around my porch, and they built a new entry step onto my front porch.  They painted exterior doors and installed all new weatherstriping around all the exterior doors.  They also installed some new locks on my exterior doors.  They even restained my antique swing and large picnic table!   <br /> These guys are hard workers and really care about the job they do and they really care about their clients.  I would have never found them if it were not for Angies List!  <br /> They are more than workers to me - they have become family! <br /> I will use them again and again in the future and will gladly refer them to anyone I know!   <br /> THANKS Michael, Tommy and Mr. Ed for all your help in making my cabin a home. <br />"

"Dwight Campbell and his crew are all you could ask for and more.  They returned our initial call quickly, came and gave us an estimate, showed up just as promised and did exactly what we wanted for the price they quoted.  What was more than we expected was the professionalism and quality of their work.  Not only that, they cleaned up so that you would never know they'd been here except for the vast improvements where they had done their work!  I've already recommended them to two people, and they only finished up at our house today.  We will absolutely call them again whenever we need any remodeling, repair, painting, etc.  Highly recommended. <br />"
