"I purchased a Air Duct cleaning deal thru Angie's List from Aegis Cleaning Service.  The lady from the office called ahead to let me know the men who would be doing the air duct cleaning were going to be a few minutes early. Which I appreciated very much. Once they arrived they checked out the air ducts to be cleaned and went right to taking care of business.  I am very pleased with their work - I found them to be efficient, professional, and courteous.  All in all a very good experience. 
My heater filter was really dirty - one of the men went to 2 stores trying to find a new filter but unfortunately they didn't have it. So they cleaned the filter really good and  gave me a couple of suggestions where I might be able to purchase a new one.
In talking to them I found out they do a lot more than air duct and furnace cleaning.  I would not hesitate to use them again.

"I needed to get a hole drilled for a instant hot water dispenser and a nickel sized chip fixed and had been procrastinating for months... what company would want to come out and do such a small task? I reviewed angieslist and found Puget Sound Stone Repair and put a call into them. Todd called back and offered to come out a few days later on a Saturday to do the repair and drill the hole at a rate of $150 per hour. He felt it wouldn't take much longer than an hour (which it didn't). Communication was good, he was running a bit late but called to tell me which was great. The repair looks fantastic... if you didn't know it was there you wouldn't even see it and I am enjoying the hot water (and chilled water) dispenser installed in the 1.5" hole he drilled. Overall very satisfied and would use Puget Sound Stone Repair again in the future."

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."

"My initial bathroom remodel project turned into a larger than expected project, with major plumbing issues with the main line, which had to be completely replaced. Also my electrical, insulation also needed replacement. All said, the project took longer than initially planned, but Palm, took care of everything. Now I feel safe and secure in my home and have Palm to thank for that. The operations manager was in contact with me almost daily, and always responded to my questions immediately. Will definitely use them again for future projects."

The Angie's List Big Deal description shows a picture of a roof mounted attic fan and in the fine print describes shingle replacement/check with your roofer. When I talked to Secure-Electric it was explained that their offer was for a gable mounted attic fan, not a roof. So, long story short, Angie's published an add that showed a roof mounted attic fan, the contractors deal was for one gable mounted. Two different things.."
