"I asked for quotes on a small job from five different companies and Randy's was the only one to call me back. We just needed a little work done to update a couple of lines and get them up to code and functional again. The techs also took the time to explain to me what current code is in the industry, which was most welcome. They also noted I had a surge supresor on one panel, but not a sub panel, so we added that in. As an IT guy with a lot of electronics around the house, keeping the numerous devices safe from a power surge is important to me. What the other installers fail to realize is a small job today may lead to bigger jobs down the line. My wife and I plan to rebuild our garage in the next year or two and install a level II charger for an electric vehicle as well as bring the house up to code as we finish remodeling it. "This company has treated me well, especially Mike Museus, who worked over a year (last summer and this spring) to find out why there was a fluid leak in my new AC unit. The leak didn't affect the cooling of my home so I wasn't concerned, but Mike was persistent, even to returning finally with an "expert" to help diagnose the problem. What they found was that the A-coil above the furnace was full of tiny pinholes. On the day this was to be replaced, Steve came before 9 a.m. to remove the defective A-Coil and install the new one. He worked on it all day, without lunch or a break, leaving shortly after 5 p.m. There was no charge, as it was still under warranty. With all that, he still took the time to explain to me why the replacement was so important: that the defective A-Coil could eventually leak enough to damage the furnace below it. Because he was using solder, I believe, to install the new part, he turned on the ceiling fan in the adjacent room to mitigate the fumes. My only complaint is that a few of my vinyl floor tiles were damaged/discolored by the soldering process. That part of the flooring has had water damage before and is missing a few tiles so, after a day of hard work, he may have attributed the damage to work done before. It's not a big deal; I just wish he'd have said something. I have to hand it to Steve, though; he was working by himself, which frequently required him to leave the furnace area to check the outdoor AC unit, then rush back to the indoor work. I think it might have been a two-person job. At least, an assistant could have facilitated some of the work done."

"We were unaware of an extra-large build-up of lint in our dryer.  The lint eventually caught fire and we had a small fire inside our dryer.  Fortunately, the fire did not spread and nothing was damaged except for the dryer.  We called SOS to see if the dryer could be repaired -- we were thinking it would need to be replaced.  The technician came out, inspected the dryer and told us it could definitely be salvaged.  We were thrilled.  He worked on the dryer immediately, but had to schedule the vent cleaning a few days later.  However, we were not charged until the vent cleaning was completed.  SOS provided me with one of the best experiences I have had with a repair company.  I was thrilled with the end result!"

Staff knew there stuff, we had a location in mind to place fireplace. This made for a difficult venting situation for direct vent type fireplace. Talked to installers and other staff and took there recommendations and purchased the Mantis, which vents with pvc, is more efficient and overall more expensive but I think very worth it and its where i want it.
Install team was excellent, clean and I would highly recommend.
Only issue was fireplace surround mixup which was resolved immediately, so immediately it was not really a problem at all. And it might have been our mistake to begin with.
