"James Fineman is the GUY! Cost was low enough that I added "drip edge" to the contract. He gladly accommodated my particular needs. When I had a question, he came right out; it wound up being nothing. I called a few months later, when water was pouring over one corner of a gutter. Mr. Fineman, within 24 hrs, said he'd send his crew that afternoon. He called later, to say that the crew had been held up. He came, himself, the next day. We differed on the cause of the spill over. Even though he was convinced that his crew was not at fault, he initiated a solution. I don't mean that he rescheduled his crew; he did it himself. Right there. Right then. I just don't know what more you could possibly expect. I am very happy with the roofing job, and, certainly, with follow-up customer service. I will not hesitate to use Tennessee Contracting Services, Inc. again. And, I highly recommend them."

"Excellent work. This is the third time I have hired Mr. Girismen to perform interior painting and repairs over the last 2 years, and have always been extremely pleased with the results. Atila is very prompt to come out to give an estimate, and I was included on the schedule very promptly. His teams are always on time and work very hard all day with a short lunch break. Atila makes sure to check on progress several times during the day, and is always available by phone. I have always found them to be friendly and respectful of my house and furnishings, and they always clean up behind themselves at the end of the day. Atila also comes by to do a final walk-through after the work is done to make sure everything has been done to my satisfaction. I live in an older house that had several different challenging repairs required. First, I had a damaged ceiling in the great room with a badly-designed piece of crown molding hung crooked by the previous DIY homeowner. I also had several light fixtures moved in the kitchen and dining room, resulting in new holes that needed to be patched, plus there was an area of water damage around an old fixture. Also, there was a hole in the dining room drywall. I cannot tell now that there was ever any damage and those rooms are very well-lighted; very impressive. The crown molding trim was a difficult situation as the trim was really too wide to fit over an a/c vent, but Atila worked with us to solve the problem by precisely cutting a section so it now lies flat and looks natural. Atila also resolved a situation where we had removed a piece of trim from the ceiling and installed stacked-stone ledgers around a fireplace. He repaired the ceiling up to the stone then caulked the seam. It was a good solution for us, as trim could not be used there due to the uneven stone. The work had to be performed on different days, as I was waiting for an electrician to move the ceiling fixtures. Atila recommended an electrician who was able to come out within a few days and did an excellent job for much less than my other two estimates. When that work was complete, I was again added promptly to Atila's schedule to get the work finalized. I will definitely use Girismen painting again."

"This was a big house to paint. The house was custom  built in  2002 but still needed a lot of surface work to prepare for the actual painting. ( nails heads that popped up, tiny cracks around windows and trim, imperfect areas of the dry wall etc etc), caulking and preparing the new crown molding and trim for paint.   The painters, Danny ( the Owner), Tommy, and Frankie are Pride Painting. They have over 2 decades painting experience between the three of them. They are also brothers!  Danny, the Owner, returned my call for an estimate promptly and came out right away for my estimate. I explained I was having house wide carpeting put in and some major remodeling done at the same time they would paint. Danny was very flexible with working with and around the other workers in the house. He tailor made a painting schedule to fit my needs. Although he is the Owner of the company, he is on site and painting right along with his crew. Danny paints  amazing. He makes a picture perfect line for all trim, all corners, all areas.  He applies caulk and grout as perfect as possible. He  hand sprayed 24 foot ceilings, tray ceilings, all ceilings, and repainted my kitchen ceiling 4 times ( at no extra cost) because he wanted it to look the best that it could. I added a lot of extra work while his crew was painting and he was very flexible about adjusting the quotes. Tommy is a major painter in Pride Painting and Danny's brother. Tommy has a long career  of painting and has honed his skills to an amazing level. Tommy can paint the lines between the wall and ceiling and wall and trim that you would think was done by a machine as it is so perfect.Tommy encouraged me to try contrast painting and try several colors on the different walls and unique architecture in my home to make the colors come alive. Tommy had the incredible skills to paint these colors on the unique arches, crown molding, trim, pillars etc. With their many years of experience they know color, they know paint, they know the techniques it takes to make your home a showcase and also a place of beauty to live in each day.  Lastly, Frankie is the third amazing painter of the company . He painted and rolled my many 24 feet walls with precision. He as well is multifaceted in the painting department. Frankie takes meticulous care of your home and environment so that no paint and no mess ends up anywhere on your floor or furniture, carpets, pets or kids. I am a real person writing this review.  I am very picky and searched a long time  for just the right painters. I want everyone looking for a painter to know  that Pride Painting is the ONLY paint company to use.  This company took very good care of my home while they painted too. They painted around new appliances and new carpeting,  and new construction and never made a single mark on anything. They left my home in perfect condition. They always kept saying " We want you to be happy with our paint job".   They finished today and I have already asked them for a quote to paint the exterior of my house.

We removed all old wood siding, then we sheathed with plywood and put on new wood siding, primed and painted two sides of the house then we scraped, sanded ,primed , caulked and painted the rest of the house. We also put new tongue & groove pine boards on ceiling under the porch then stained it.

"They painted our kitchen, foyer, living room (very high ceilings), one bedroom, and the master bath. They painted the walls, all trim, ceilings, and doors in those rooms. They were on time everyday and very professional! They covered everything we had in our home so nothing got dust or paint on it. You keep everything thats hanging on the walls that you want up, they take it down for you and hang it back where you had it. They patched all holes that weren't being used and fixed all the drywall work. All three of the men were extremely nice and made me feel very comfortable leaving the house everyday. I came home when they were finished and everything was back on the walls and everything was very clean. Even if it was just painting, they did a great job and I will hire them again in the future for any projects we have!"

FAQs for arbor, pergola or trellis custom build projects in Gladeville, TN

Pergolas and gazebos are both outdoor structures, but there are differences between the two. A pergola has a slatted roof that allows partial sunlight to filter through, creating a light and airy space. In contrast, a gazebo features a solid roof that provides complete shade. This key difference influences the comfort and visual appeal of your outdoor space.

Prefabricated pergola kits require one to four hours of assembly, while custom pergola designs take an average of eight to 16 hours. Additional groundwork, such as pouring a concrete slab, leveling the site, and removing obstructions, may extend the installation process to several weeks, ensuring a secure and long-lasting build.

A standard pergola kit ships with everything you need—four support posts, rafters, top runners, support beams, and hardware for anchoring the frame to a concrete pad. Many manufacturers also bundle add-ons like retractable canopies, privacy screens, or modular sections that let you tweak the footprint. Because each part is pre-cut and labeled, the kit helps you—or your contractor—assemble a sturdy, attractive structure without extra trips to the hardware store.
