"Hayden and Mark F did a great job! I am pleased with their work! My driveway is now level again as are my sidewalk and patio. They had large voids underneath and now feel stable and look great!"

"We were very happy to find A Plus Concrete & Foundation repair. They did a tremendous job!! Joe & his team came to our house last month to repair old crumbling foundation blocks. The team was fantastic! The old broken blocks in our foundation were repaired quickly and efficiently. Thank you! The team power washed the side patio above our garage per Gary, the owner's, suggestion. We're grateful Gary suggested removing the old rubber coating on the cement. We ended up finding numerous hairline cracks that were causing water to leak into the basement. After finding the source of the problem, Gabe and Dan returned two weeks later to seal the cracks and paint the patio above the garage with a fresh coat of paint. They were extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and hard working. The patio looks amazing and is now leak free. Thank you! I will be recommending your company to my family and friends."

"The city notified us our sidewalks needed to be repaired. John met with me two days after I called them and walked me through the whole process. America took care of the permits and communicating with the city inspector. The work was done to spec, on schedule, and to the contract price. John kept me updated throughout the process. The sidewalk looks great, the price was fair, and they kept me in the loop. Easy to work with and they answer their phones."

"I needed a privacy fence. Home Advisor gave me the phone number for Fitzgerald Home Improvements. I left a message on their answering machine one day, rec'd a call to set up an appt the next day, Scott came to review the job timely, he gave me an estimate, we signed a contract the next day which I think was a Thursday. He came on Sat and completed the job on Sunday! And the job is really great! It is so HARD to find a contractor. Then leaving a message and getting them to call back is tough and actually appearing for the appt. doesn't usually happen. Scott was personable and accommodating. I would highly recommend them."

FAQs for concrete injection leveling mudjacking projects in Glassport, PA

Mudjacking and foam jacking differ significantly in both materials and methods. Mudjacking uses a cement-based slurry to fill voids beneath a slab, while foam jacking uses expanding polyurethane foam delivered under high pressure to achieve superior structural support. This material distinction enhances load-bearing strength and overall stability in your repair.

Mudjacking takes between one and three days to dry completely. During this time, it's important to avoid putting weight on the slab until it's fully cured. The drying time depends on the project size and environmental conditions. In contrast, polyurethane foam used in foam jacking can cure in as little as one hour.

No, mudjacking is not a permanent fix for sinking concrete. While it effectively lifts the slab and can last five to 10 years, it doesn't address underlying soil issues that may cause future sinking. For a more permanent solution, you might consider foam jacking or complete slab replacement, which can address deeper structural problems.
