"Had a great experience with this team which reroofed, resided and made stable an old and very large shed. The owner, Mike, was extremely fair and made sure that everything was done right. The price was reasonable and the job was done well and in a short time. Would definitely recommend F&M Group! "

"Outstanding Service and Craftsmanship from Pro-Tech Construction! We recently had the pleasure of working with Pro-Tech Construction for the complete rebuild of our front porch, and we couldn’t be more pleased with the results! The owner himself took on the work, which really speaks to his dedication, craftsmanship, and personal commitment to every project. From start to finish, Pro-Tech Construction exceeded our expectations in every way. The owner was incredibly honest, transparent, and focused on the details, making sure everything was done to perfection and our satisfaction. His pride in his work is evident in the exceptional quality and attention to every little nuance. The project was completed on time and within budget. What truly sets Pro-Tech apart is their fairness—his pricing was competitive, he uses quality materials, and the work done was well worth every penny. We are thoroughly impressed and highly recommend Pro-Tech Construction for any home improvement project. We’ll definitely be reaching out to Pro-Tech Construction for our future upgrades and projects. Thank you for making our porch the most beautiful porch in the neighborhood! It is truly built to last and we are so glad that we found Pro-Tech!"

"I have heard so many remodeling horror stories. From the moment we spoke to Gerardo and his team, I knew I had made the right choice. The results are beyond my dreams. I feel ulike I moved into a brand new home. We renovated my childhood home into our retirement haven. Yaya Contracting did not miss a single detail. They worked with an engineer to make sure we had no structural issues in the future. They went above and beyond what we expected. The design team helped us coordinate tiles, carpet and wood flooring. Gerardo and his team listened to our needs and made sure the job was done to perfection. I highly recommend Yaya Contracting!!!"

"Time management was poor at best. Crews running too many jobs at the same time. My bathroom remodel took over 8 months to finish after a 90 day projection. ATTENTION TO DETAIL WAS VERY VERY BAD!!! Flooring was not laid smoothly (tile). Multiple holes cut in new sheet rock to hang light fixtures.. Apparently Troy can't use a tape measure properly. He was the supervisor that got fired. 1 of the workers was smoking weed in my house (we don't smoke anything inside). Neil the owner cannot be trusted to tell you the truth. Very dishonest people, company. BUYER BEWARE!!!!"

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Glen Allen, VA

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
