We are also in the middle of a renovation project for our game room and that included the installation of a sliding glass door where a window was. The door install required that a steel lintel be moved up to accommodate the height of the new door. We were very fortunate that we called Michener Chimney and Masonry to come and have a look. "We are supplying the tile and fixtures. We have worked with them before. They remodeled our kitchen in 2000 and we were very happy with their work. It is a lot of money but it is reasonable. They are here early and before they are supposed to be. They are great. They clean up behind themselves every day. We don't have to vacuum or do anything. They are wonderful."

"I was suspicious that birds were nesting in our attic because they were always hanging out on either side of the house on the roof. I also saw what I thought were holes where the downspouts met the roof. I called Always Available Animal control and they were at my house removing the bird nests within 15 minutes. He went in through the attic but was able to reach and remove all the material from the exterior of the house. They cleaned up the area, sprayed sanitizer (which also killed the moss growing on the portion of the roof) and he sealed the holes with silicon. He explained how the birds were entering the attic and made recommendations moving forward. Since it was hot and humid the day they plugged the holes, he also said to give him a call to redo the silicon if it didn't set (which it did). No more birds on either side, which has kept the sides of my house much cleaner.

"The brick mason was needed because the company installing a new gas wall furnace had to first remove the old furnace. Its removal resulted in a large through and through hole which went through the wall and the brick. Joseph Little and Home Improvement did the necessary brick mason work which definitely closed my wall on the inside and outside. I was thoroughly pleased."
