"New AC unit in 2016 with recent problem being the third issue with unit since installed. Parts covered by warranty but labor and freon refill not. Most recently coil found leaking and needed to be replaced. I explained to owner past problems including my thought 3 breakdowns was excessive for newer unit. He said he would work with us to get it fixed to our satisfaction and he did just that. I would call them again for HVAC service."

"Remember how service used to be? These people do! Not only did they do what I contracted with them to do, but the service guy who came explained why they replaced a part, its importance to the unit, and was very professional and personable. When I called 6 hours later to leave a message saying my unit was still cycling and hadn't shut off, the owner called me back that evening(tho I asked only that he call the next day), explained what was probably happening (still cooling down), why (he had called the service guy and found it was 86 degrees when he came), and when to expect it to change. He was right. And I'm a very happy customer. These people understand what "service" means - or used to mean!"

"I had a leak above one of my windows, Donovan came out quickly and took a look at things and patched up various issues with my roof that were most likely causing the issue. He was very knowledgeable and very affordable. I plan on using him again when I have other issues come up."

"We have been maintenance (once a year check on the A/C and once a year check on the furnace) customers for years spending about $200 a year for that service and have always been happy with the service. Our A/C appointment is normally in August however, knowing it is an older unit I called in May and asked if they would go ahead and come out. I was told there was no need and they would call to schedule in August. Well last night the unit went out. Don’t know if the service appointment would have prevented it or not. Called at 8 AM this morning (Wednesday) and was told they could come out Monday afternoon. I feel like 6 days was a little ridiculous even thought I understand it is hot out and I’m sure they are busy so she took my name and left a message for the service manager. I called back at 11:30 and left a second message. At 2 he finally called me back and while he was apologetic he also told me Monday or I could pay the emergency rate $98 for the first half hour and have them come out late Friday or early Saturday (still 3-4 days away). I am giving them a C because up until now we have been happy with their maintenance (and even recommended them to friend) but I question what is the point of being a maintenance member or “preferred” customer if you can’t get them to come out within a day or two when you need them. Will be looking at one of the other providers that value the loyal customers."

"Placed call for service at 8:05 am. Service scheduled for 11:00 am same day. Service tech Jamie arrived promptly at 11:00. Job was completed exactly as requested. Jamie was very nice to work with. Dauenhauer has been doing plumbing jobs for me for more than 10 years. I would definitely recommend them. & they offer a discount for Angie's list users."

Recently when we were having problems with our computers, we tried contacting our service contractor multiple times. He never responded. Feeling frustrated, I contacted James at North Alabama Technical Services and explained our situation. He instantly came to our rescue. He "cleaned-up" our computers and took care of all the problems we were experiencing. He went above and beyond to help us in our dire time of need. "Slow response and the labor costs was quite expensive. More than I would have expected to pay for a warranty job. The parts were covered by warranty, but Maeser charged a high premium for the labor. I would have expected them to give me some sort of break seeming they recommended the original unit and did the install. There are less expensive service providers out there and I'll turn to them when I need additional work done."
