"First late me state up front that everyone at Granite Works Countertops was friendly and pleasant to work with.  This includes both the folks in the office and the workers in the field. 
In 2007-2008 I had my kitchen expanded and remodeled by Allan Homes Unlimited.   In on December 15, 2013 the kitchen sink collapsed. (I should write up Allan Homes Unlimited regarding this issue)
I called my favorite plumbers first thing on Monday. They indicated that they would need countertop experts to remount the sink first.  So I used Angie's list and found Granite Works Countertops.
I called their office to describe the issue and schedule a time for the repair.  Unfortunately due to the holiday rush of people wanting their countertop work done prior to Christmas the earliest date they could come was December 23rd.  Due to the holidays my work time was also constrained so they offered to call me at work when leaving their prior work site so I could leave and meet them at my home.  This was a wonderful accommodation as I was able to fulfill my work requirements AND get my sink fixed.
The only negative issue was that this was a two person job and they only sent one person.  He was great, but he could have used another set of arms.   I helped as best I could but my back is not in the best of shape.
This next section includes some issues but I do not see them as against Granite Works Countertops as there was no other way to perform the work.
Due to the sink configuration they were unable to use the preferred technique of bolting the sink to the countertop. Instead he constructed side braces to the cabinetry and held the sink up with a spare piece of wood while the glue dried.  Sadly this results in screw's coming through the sides on the inside of the cabinetry, but there was no other option.  I was advised that the wood holding up the sink while the glue cured, could be removed, but would be better if left in place.
Also, should the sink fail again, I should have plumbers come to remove all the plumbing work so that their is room to install the sink with a better mechanism (undercounter bolts).
The work is complete (and the plumber has since repaired the drain damage) and I am mostly satisfied with the results.  Ideally the job would have been done differently, but that was not an option at the time.
I would be happy to use Granite Works Countertops again..

"We had Laminate placed over top of our existing hardwood in our kitchen. Our floor was uneven so they had to level our floor before anything could be done. All the other companies said that they couldn't do it. They did some little extra things to help us out as well. The carpet guys did one floor one day and the other floor the next. They moved all our furniture very carefully. They did a wonderful job! The Vinyl guy was in and out in 4 hours. I have yet to find a flaw. Soon after having our floors put in, we got central air, so the flooring guys offered to come back and cut the carpet so that we did not ruin there flawless job. Scott, the salesman, was very helpful when selling us the products. We have 2 children and a dog so durability was a must as well as the cost. He offered a lot of different suggestions and was very dependable on what he said. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I would use them over and over again....."

"We selected American Kitchen Concepts after checking out several other companies. Dan, owner of the company, is also the designer. At other companies we felt that salesman / designer was just going through the motions and cranked out a cookie cutter, unimaginative design. Dan spends time to learn what you want and developed a design that was far superior and more aesthetically pleasing to those from other companies. After we signed the contract, we had second thoughts about our backsplash tile choice and decided not to extend the new flooring into our family room. Dan was very reasonable with his change order. Once the work started, their tradesmen were on site every weekday from demo to a new, functional kitchen. Dan and his installation team do a very good job of keeping the project moving. It would have finished on time, but the cabinet manufacturer shipped one cabinet 3” narrower than Dan ordered. Dan worked with the manufacturer to have the replacement cabinet expedited and it is due to arrive about a week after the other work was completed. The tradesmen are highly skilled and courteous. It was a comforting to have tradesmen in your house that you could trust. The final product is exactly as we had envisioned!"

We had a little mix-up on the installation date and time but Ken was fantastic and with incredibly short notice he was able to arrange a team to perform our install. They did an amazing job!
