I was relieved to get an appointment scheduled for the very next day. Sean arrived on time, quickly assessed the situation, and gently broke the news that our water heater needed to be replaced. Although I was initially upset—since the water heater was installed just three years ago—Sean eased my concerns with his calm demeanor and professionalism, which made me feel much better about moving forward. Sean was incredibly respectful of our home, especially our new carpet. "Slow draining tub, a toilet that just won't flush, and some back flow when using the dishwasher left us thinking we just had a major clog.  To our surprise, it was a collapsed sewer line that needed to be replaced.  While there was a 1 week wait due to the time of year and the demands they were expecting, we were more than happy to wait the week.  Work went quickly and smoothly, and was far less intrusive than we anticipated.  Their staff even wore shoe coverings when coming into the house!  Only some minor clean up work was required once they left, which appeared to be an oversight when they cleaned up.  Everything else was back to normal after they left and no problems since."

"They came to my house within 30 minutes, found the leaking pipe, turned off the water.  Then they cleaned the entire house that the water damaged.  James was so good, they made the house look better than before the leak.  The supervisor arrived shortly after, fully explaining the process and helped me make an insurance claim.  Very helpful because I had never made a claim before.  They came in next day, cutting out wet walls and they found mold.  Immediately they contained the area with a enclosure and hooked up some fancy equipment that the tech told me would keep the mold from spreading.  He was very helpful explaining the entire process.  With in a week, they had cleaned up the water mess, removed the mold, put some sort of sealant on the mold which he told me would prevent it coming back in those spots, and then they rebuilt the walls, cleaned all my carpets, repainted.  The amazing part was that 911 Restoration communicated with us so well, we knew exactly what was going to happen every step of the way.  Thank you for respecting us as a family in need and treating us as if we were your family.  Truly made this hard part of our lives much easier.

"Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."
