"Owner Ricky Stroup was infinitely patient with us, as after our initial meeting it took us over a year to hire his company to do this work. During that year, we had multiple conversations with him regarding the scope of our project, and he was as willing to contract the scope as to expand it. He wrote several proposals for us, so we could see the financial impacts of our different scope options. Our indecision on scope, and delay in scheduling, never caused any frustration or ill will on his part. Mr. Stroup was helpful, friendly, and patient throughout! His team installed everything in one day, and all who worked on our project were extremely courteous and professional. We have been very impressed with the quality of the work. Working with Gutter Glove of North Carolina was an enjoyable experience, and I recommend this company!"

"I was promised excellent work for the money I pay. The product I received is barely satisfactory. The windows are new, but that is the only good thing about them. The alignment of window parts is very poor, the UV film inside the windows has bubbles, screws are sticking out of the inside frame, caulking is uneven. Scheduling service made every effort for me to never meet with the team, even when I said I don't feel safe if they come to my house without me. The President of the company, Gerry Rogers, is not responding to my emails after giving me a call and saying that they take every customer's satisfaction seriously. Seriously? It has been ten days since I sent him an email and still waiting for the response."

"Have worked w/Bob Stahl since 2012 (Stahl Cabinets is now Neptune Kitchen and Bath), and was so pleased with his work that we've not used anyone else since. After some cosmetic improvements to our kitchen, powder room, and (ex) wet bar area in 2012, we decided in 2017 to upgrade our master bath, and the result was beyond our expectations (7 pix-) - could not be more pleased! We then, earlier this year/2019, decided to upgrade the guest bathroom (4 pix); convert the old brick/ceramic tile, non-working fireplace (1 pix; gas insert includes backlit/colored pebbles); bar area (1 pix, added wine racks); powder room vanity (1 pix); as well as change the kitchen cabinetry color (from polyurethane golden oak to white/peripheral cabinets, and mint green/island) (2 pix) ... again, outstanding results! Finally, we installed built-in shelving in the FROG (office), with a library ladder - quite pleased! Constant communication on both schedule and cost (on target, no surprises) - will not work with anyone else!. We recommend Neptune unconditionally!"

"Steve and his crew enclosed our patio to make a four-season sunroom and we couldn't be more delighted with the results! From start to finish everything was done according to our request, and now we have a gorgeous area that lets in natural light that and is a pleasure to use."

"Our front steps to our porch had seemed to settle, and there were cracks and gaps all over. Knowing we were going to have to rebuild them, we called VA Brick Dr first based on reviews. He even had us send him some pictures over text later in the day so he could start to give us an idea of what we were looking at. He came out the next day and examined our steps. He took a good long look at them and realized only one step had actually shifted, the rest of the steps and base were as they should be. He recommended only rebuilding the one step since everything else was measured correctly. Thrilled with that assessment, we had him do the work. I have no doubt other companies would have looked and just told us to rebuild the whole step structure, but he really took the time to make sure he gave us his honest opinion. About a month later he came and did the repair (weather kept delaying), and the end result came out better than we had hoped. He cleaned up the steps and joints all over, and looks good as new."

"For 3 of my window sashes, I was upsold the hidden screens. One of these windows was impossible for me to close immediately, and another on was difficult to close. A service tech was sent out to examine these hidden screens, (Event Number 230525-002699) and he was able to force the one closed by deforming the vinyl of the window and scratching the latch, and I never heard anything back about it. I had to order a replacement regular screen, at my own expense. I then received an email from you to schedule further service at a time four months after the original complaint, and I replied that I had ordered a replacement for the one screen at my own expense, and that if you were just going to send someone out to examine them and do nothing, not to bother. I then received a phone message from Brendan saying that since I “basically resolved the issue that you already had with the screen” that he was closing out the case. Now another one of the hidden screens is dropping upon opening and does not connect at the bottom of the screen, so I have to replace that as well, at my own expense, because your warrantee is worthless. FAQs for new windows service projects in Gloucester Point, VA

Yes, bay windows add value to a home. They enhance the property by expanding the interior space and flooding rooms with natural light. Their unique three-panel design creates a stunning focal point that elevates curb appeal and modernizes living areas. This architectural detail increases both functional space and visual appeal, directly contributing to higher home resale value.

Yes, all window types have the potential to become part of a bay window configuration when modified correctly. The transformation involves reconfiguring standard windows into a multi-panel design that features a larger central window flanked by smaller ones. This process requires precise professional planning and custom framing to ensure durability, visual balance, and structural integrity.

Bay windows typically consist of three glass panels extending beyond the home's exterior walls, with a larger center panel flanked by two smaller ones. In contrast, bow windows are composed of four to six equally sized glass panels that create a gentle curve and do not extend as far from the exterior walls.

Bay windows cost more than standard windows because their expansive, multi-panel design requires additional materials and skilled labor. Their construction involves extra glass, specialized frame components that extend outward, and complex operating mechanisms. These technical demands necessitate precise engineering and multiple expert installations, thereby significantly increasing both material and labor expenses.

Bay windows cost three times more than standard double-hung windows because their design requires extra panels, expanded framing, and a more complex installation process. The advanced construction method increases material consumption and demands comprehensive expertise, while specialized window treatments further elevate expenses. This all results in a significant difference in overall project cost.
