"Leak occurred from top floor unit down onto ceiling and walls of 2nd floor unit in a condoized 3 family in South Boston. Dan Conway came out and assessed the damage, assured us that there was no remaining wetness and mold behind wall.  2nd floor owner wanted to take a look behind the wall so Dan removed a small section of wall to confirm. Wall and wood was dry. 
Hole was patched, stain blocker applied, and walls and ceiling were painted. Work took 3 visits to house. After work was completed and Dan was paid, we noticed another blotch on wall and Dan came back and fixed without a new invoice. Will do business again.

"Kevin called me back the same day to schedule a visit and give me a quote. He showed up on time, was very thorough and honest. He originally scheduled the work for a couple weeks out due to some remaining exterior jobs they were still working on, but put me on the 'rainy day' schedule. Lucky me, it did rain and they were able to get the job done even sooner than I expected. Jeremiah and Damien did a FANTASTIC job on the bathroom. I can barely recognize it with how good it looks compared to before. Exceeded my wildest expectations. I would highly recommend K-Nells, and will be using them in the future for any painting needs."

"Event Hall: -Complete renovation of three bathrooms which included new floors, new sinks, new toilets, plumbing upgrade, electric service upgrade, granite countertop installation, and installation of bathroom stalls. -New bar countertops and tables made of pine wood. Giovani handmade all of our countertops and table tops with a live edge feature which gave it a rustic design. Installation of new floors. Raised ceiling. Built a new stage for our performers. New paint job and wallpaper application. Restaurant Floor and Bar: Travertine natural stone tile behind our buffet line which created a very nice natural and chic atmosphere for the restaurant. Removal of carpets and install of new floors. Removal of old paint on brick walls and application of new wallpaper. New paint on walls and brick walls. New trim and new wall panelling for a classic and polished look. New bar countertop and table tops that were handmade by Giovani with live edge feature. New electric update with installation of new recessed lighting. Plumbing upgrade on restaurant bathrooms. Wallpaper application, granite countertops, and installation of stalls in restaurant bathrooms. Kitchen: Installation of new coal barbecue grill. Granite countertop for grill serving area. Our experience with United Remodeling was fantastic!!!! There was constant communication between us and the contractors. We were very satisfied with the timeline of this remodeling and staying within our scheduled timeframe was a plus for us in order to open our business within our desired opening date. "Scheduling was difficult. Many days he either came late or not at all. I was left with several rooms in upheaval for weeks as a result. Part of the problem was that one room’s wallpaper was delayed in shipping, but instead of finishing the other 2 rooms and putting everything back, he left that until after the final room was papered. Clean-up was not done well and the hardwood floors were left quite spotted from water and glue. The papering and painting were done well and I am pleased with the result. Paulo did recommend and perform some additional work which came out very nice. His pricing was very fair. I just think Paulo needed to be better organized and did not plan enough time to look things over before finishing up. My biggest reason for not recommending would be the problem with him not showing up when expected."

"Their designer helped to set out a plan, including 3D diagrams.  This was extremely helpful.  Demolition happened in 1 1/2 days and the crew was able to remove the existing vanities & mirrors without damage so they could be reused.  That was important to us.  All the crew were extremely friendly, professional and skilled.  The plasterer did a terrific job, and fast.  The tile work took longer than expected but was very well done.  The only negative here was that the old floor did not hold up as well during the construction as I had hoped.   The contractor took time to try and improve the condition of the floor and has agreed to give it a second shot.  We do appreciate this  Perhaps if it was covered during demo the wear and tear could have been minimized.
For the most part crew showed up when expected.  Some were better at that than others.  We trusted the crew to be considerate of our home, as they always were, so we did not mind leaving them here without us if necessary.
 When a problem occurred, such as a wrong part, it was handled well.  We made some minor changes during the course of the work and the crew was very accommodating.  
We were able to use the bathroom as scheduled but the glass is not in yet.  A few small touch-ups remain but I am confident it will be handled well.
