"Our tub looks like it is brand new! Before the work was done, our tub was peeling from a previous refinishing job, and looked and felt terrible. The technician was very professional and explained exactly what the job would entail. Everything was taped well and the rest of the tile and fixtures were kept clean. The tub looks beautiful and with a two year warranty, I feel very confident in their workmanship. Everyone from the person who spoke with me on the phone to the tech were polite and explained the process very well."

"Excellent service, quality work. Joe was very responsive and communicative. He obviously takes pride in his work, and the shower looks great. What impressed me most was that during the initial installation he noticed the smallest imperfection in the glass, one that I most likely wouldn’t have noticed for months, if ever. He offered to complete the installation, so that we wouldn’t be without a shower for 2 weeks while he ordered a replacement pane. Then he came out and installed the replacement pane at no additional cost. So impressed. Thanks Joe!"

"It could not have gone better. We had three estimates and Labor Panes was 20 percent lower than the other two "A" listed providers. The three-person crew of polite, well-groomed and immensely professional and very careful window cleaners showed up on time and worked non-stop until the job was done, finishing hours earlier than the estimated time we were given. We'll use them again for sure."

"Other than some delays and a hiccup with the counter installation, it went relatively smoothly.  The remodeled kitchen look very much  like the design we had in mind and is surprisingly bright and spacious.  In this project we tore out a 50+ year old kitchen (knotty pine walls & cabinets, worn-out formica, ancient appliances).   We wanted a larger window for more light & to rearrange the counter layout.  We had planned this for several years and had done a lot of homework on cabinetry, appliances, tiling choices, etc., which paid off in spades: we know what we wanted done at nearly every step along the way.  The only exception was the replacement window; after roughing out the larger opening, the replacement (vinyl) window Mike came up with had no more glass than the original - the difference in size was all absorbed by the oversized framing.  We did more research and found a better window from a different vendor for not much extra money that suited our needs.  This did cause a delay in the progress - can't finish interior trim with only a temporary window.  Mike's crews were, for the most part, professional, efficient, and hard working - the plumber stayed until nearly midnight one night to finish his part so that the sheet rockers could do their thing the next day.  There were a few glitches - some outlets & light switches were not hooked up correctly the first time (easily fixed), a few cabinet doors were dinged and needed to be reordered (more delays), the main countertop slab was scratched & needed to be replaced (took some convincing but the installer's attempt to "buff it out" only made it worse; more delays) - but eventually everything fell into place. <br />"

"The project went well from start to finish. Luis was very professional and accommodating regarding terms of contract. My entire roof was replaced within 2 days. I was very pleased with the roof it made my home look like a new house. Upon inspection once roof was completed there were 3 findings that occurred during the roof installation, 2 where minor damages that occurred to areas of house not related to roof and rain diverter was not replaced. Each incident was fixed/ replaced within 1-2 business days as promised."

"Billy Martin showed up right on time and got to work with his crew. His workers all showed professionalism and respect for our house and ourselves. They removed the old roofing materials and replaced 7 sheets of plywood that was compromised by water damage. We bought this house in 2014 and it was built in 1999. The roof HOMEWERX removed was the original one. Of the four estimates we got, HOMEWERX was not only the best quality for our buck but the only company that would replace (as part of the roofing job) any plywood for free. The job was completed in one day. Very impressive. Frank Speck, who represents HOMEWERX and came to our home to talk about an estimate showed up to see how it was going. Billy Martin, the owner, also was here most of the day. He was even helping his crew on small things. It was like a company would have been run in "The Old Days." My wife and I would highly recommend HOMEWERX for a reliable job. They are top notch people that represent a top notch company! <br />"

"Called Litchfield for an estimate and scheduled an appointment with Scott. He came out a few days later we discussed what I wanted and he told me how much it would cost and when he could do it. I scheduled the work to be completed a week or so later. The installers showed up on time and completed the work quickly. Would recommend to anyone and will use him again on my next house. <br />"

FAQs for new windows service projects in Goose Creek, SC

Yes, bay windows add value to a home. They enhance the property by expanding the interior space and flooding rooms with natural light. Their unique three-panel design creates a stunning focal point that elevates curb appeal and modernizes living areas. This architectural detail increases both functional space and visual appeal, directly contributing to higher home resale value.

Yes, all window types have the potential to become part of a bay window configuration when modified correctly. The transformation involves reconfiguring standard windows into a multi-panel design that features a larger central window flanked by smaller ones. This process requires precise professional planning and custom framing to ensure durability, visual balance, and structural integrity.

Bay windows typically consist of three glass panels extending beyond the home's exterior walls, with a larger center panel flanked by two smaller ones. In contrast, bow windows are composed of four to six equally sized glass panels that create a gentle curve and do not extend as far from the exterior walls.

Bay windows cost more than standard windows because their expansive, multi-panel design requires additional materials and skilled labor. Their construction involves extra glass, specialized frame components that extend outward, and complex operating mechanisms. These technical demands necessitate precise engineering and multiple expert installations, thereby significantly increasing both material and labor expenses.

Bay windows cost three times more than standard double-hung windows because their design requires extra panels, expanded framing, and a more complex installation process. The advanced construction method increases material consumption and demands comprehensive expertise, while specialized window treatments further elevate expenses. This all results in a significant difference in overall project cost.
