Went above and beyond from a service standpoint and was right on time even working into a weekend to hit his committed deadline. Only hope is that I have another project to work with him on."

"This company is the absolute worst experience I have ever had. The person who measured for my 12 window replacement estimate Lindsay, measured incorrectly. This caused the disaster from that point forward. When the installers came, the crew were unfriendly and appeared like they were hungover or on drugs. They noticed the error by Lindsay within the first 10 minutes. They told me that the windows could still be installed. However, it would require capping on the exterior due to Lindsay,s mismeasurements. OK, I thought, mistakes happen. I allowed them to move forward, and I proceeded to go to work for the day. I came back home 8 hours later to find the inside area totally trashed. Nails and insulation all over the floors and my driveway. I had to pick up approximately 30 nails as well as caulking and insulation on the carpeting inside my home and outside in the driveway. Think twice before hiring!"

He does not even file for the proper permits to do the work he claims he can do. My town has already filed a report with the state. He has a long history of this behavior dating back to him moving to Maine from the south where he had another business under a different name. We were extremely lucky to have surveillance in our home & to know our legal rights because not only did he not finish the work & leave us with a huge mess, not to mention more work done than we initially needed… he tried to call CPS & filed a fraudulent report so that it would look like we would be retaliating when we filed for breach of contract. He didn’t stop there. He tried making it look like I was coming on to him & asking for work in exchange for sexual favors when I asked him if he was going to honor his contract. He hasn’t responded to me ever since I let him know I have video surveillance. He did this to a single mom with two special needs kids. Please protect yourself."

"The job went according to plan and looks amazing. I met with LR Higgins Inc. late winter and we discussed the job I needed done. With the pandemic, the windows and doors would take a while to be delivered especially the custom sliding doors for the breezeway. Eric kept me in the loop the entire time. He updated me on a regular basis to let me know when he thought the product would be delivered and a start date. His crew was informative and very clean. All debris was picked up and swept up. I have used LR Higgins in the past and I keep gong back to them. They do a FANTASTIC job!"

"Renewal by Andersen makes a wonderful product but extremely pricey. The company is all about sales, and the installation side uses shortcuts and their workmanship is terrible! They hire subcontractors that have different levels of installation experience. I had my entire home and gambrel garage windows and doors replaced. The installers used too much caulking, and in my opinion looked sloppy and amateurish look. Caulking smeared onto my deck as well as on my cedar clapboards of my home. I addressed the issue with the Team Leader of the crew, and he reassured me he would take care of the problem, which he clearly did not! In regards to the inside of my home, when installing the new Provia Steel Entry Doors they damaged the sheetrock in several areas of my home, and once again used too much caulking on the windows. Due to the poor workmanship of this Company, I had to spend additional funds to hire my finished carpenter to complete the job. It was not what I expected from Renewal by Anderson and all the hype about their reputation. A business that weighs success by profits and does not provide extraordinary customer experience. The company sent Andy, a long time employee of their company to my home NUMEROUS times to address the issues I encountered during the initial install. It is obvious to me; the company does not communicate effectively, specifically management with the installers. Often times Andy would arrive at my home without the necessary parts to complete the job, only to return on another date. I would arrange for coverage / work from home to accommodate his visits. Finally, I reached my breaking point and communicated with the company giving them one more chance to complete the job to my satisfaction or I was going to seek legal counsel. I strongly suggest you avoid Renewal by Andersen, find another company that strives to please their customers, and are satisfied with a fair profit. I am very disappointed with the overall experience."
