"The jobs went great and were done correctly! Very insightful and has a vision on how he would like things to be accomplished. He took his time to with me to walk my basement and gave me a better price than other plumbers to replace water lines. He really looks out for his customers and makes sure you know all the pricing for a job before hand. Very respectful and professional man, who clearly takes pride in his profession!"

We contracted with M&M because the land-layout caused water to invade our basement in times of rain.  AJ came and gave us an estimate.  We had 2 other estimates ?but AJ?s plan sounded much better thought-out than the others who seemed to have a limited scope of the situation.

AJ proposed to lay perforated pipe along the house to channel the water down the slope and away from the house.  He offered to put a channel drain in front of the basement door, and tie in all downspouts into underground pipes to avoid erosion and flooding in those areas.  Also included was a drain box on the garage side with an outflow so as not to have standing water exposed.  This had always been a wet spot that accumulated about a 4 inch depth of water in a good rainstorm.

Due to our personal commitments we had to postpone the start, and then of course AJ had other engagements, but we finally hit on a date, and AJ came with 3 other fellows to begin work.  We had to take a week off again because of personal commitments, but AJ and troop came back when we returned and finished the job.  They graded the areas and seeded them and put down straw to make sure the seeds didn?t float away.

The rain we've had so far hasn?t put a dent into the new system so we have high hopes AJ?s endeavor has been the cure-all.  Will post an update ? probably by fall.

AJ and his crew are very friendly, amiable, and very hard workers. They clean up after themselves and are very obliging.  Great to work with!

"When the granite was initially installed, they had cut the holes the wrong size for the faucet and had to come back out the following week with a new piece of granite. However, because it was their mistake, they were able to come to the house after 5 pm so that I didn't have to miss work again for the installation. They did a beautiful job and I was happy with the finished product."

"Everything went great, there were a couple changes that had to be made as the job progressed, we found out the old toilet had been leaking pretty badly, and there was a bunch of rotting floor boards.  Other than that they completed the job within our time frame, cleaned the house up at the end of each day very well, and really treated our home like it was theirs.  Everything was sealed up with plastic barriers so we wouldn't get dust throughout the house, I was very pleased about that.  We plan to have them back in the next year or two for the kitchen.

"The service call was placed on 12/10; vendor callled same day but was unable to respond until 12/14. He was prompt and declared the faucet was unreparable.. I asked if he could not try to repair but he said he cold not do that because if it din'fix the problem he could not replace the faucet. He stated that the replacement would not be exact but similar. My faucet had separaate lever for turn on/off but he said the replacement would probably be part of the sprout. We did not really appreciate this but he offered no probable favorable solution.. Not happy with response time but realize a close to weekend call caused this. Did not appreciate not even attempting repair."

"They came out to do my gutters. Unfortunately, by the time they got here the gutters were frozen. They tried to come back a week or so ago and the gutters were still frozen. They are going to come back later but, so far so good. They were able to do the front gutters because those had got the sun. The rear of the house is shady side and so they were still frozen. I gave them a B because it took them longer to get here. I think they positioned themselves that they had to deal with frozen stuff, that's probably because they were busy. They will take of me and so, I am fine. It was a very good price. They were here when they said they would be here."

FAQs for faucets, fixtures and pipes repair or replace projects in Goshen, MA

You can absolutely install an outdoor mixture tap outside your home. An outdoor mixer tap blends hot and cold water before it leaves the spout, giving you a steady temperature for rinsing produce, washing hands, or spraying down patio furniture. As long as a plumber runs both hot and cold supply lines and insulates them against freezing, a mixer outside performs just like the one in your kitchen.

Outdoor faucet handles come in twist, lever, or knob varieties, all designed to stand up to the elements while giving you precise flow control. They’re built from tough materials yet offer the same comfort and ease of use as indoor faucets. Ask your plumber for a selection and for recommendations on the best option for your needs.

Start by pinpointing the leak—often it’s a worn washer, a loose packing nut, or a damaged gasket. If it’s salvageable, replace the faulty part; otherwise, you may need a new faucet. Always turn off the water before starting repairs, and test thoroughly when you’re done to confirm you’ve stopped the leak.

You can protect your outdoor faucets during the winter months by shutting off the water supply to the outdoor faucet before freezing weather arrives and by always disconnecting any attached hoses. You can further safeguard your outdoor faucets against ice by insulating the pipe and installing a basic faucet cover.

An outdoor faucet can last 20 years, though budget models may wear out in 10, and high-end ones can push 30 or more. Proper installation, routine upkeep, and careful use help you get the most life from any spigot. Ask your plumber for maintenance and care recommendations to get the most from your outdoor faucet.

Replacing an outdoor spigot yourself might work if you’re handy, but a professional plumber guarantees code compliance, reduces the risk of water damage, and offers peace of mind. If you’re not sure about soldering or local regulations, it’s best to hire a licensed plumber for a lasting fix that you can feel confident in.
