"I recently bought a house that had a new dishwasher improperly installed, and Mr. Knapp figured out the problem right away and fixed it. I will be calling Knapp's again any time I have an appliance problem."

"It was not an easy job at all, but the patience and clear instructions of Wally C. from Neli Virtual Appliance Repair made it possible, and successful. Experience with tools and mechanical assembly required for my tasks, but Wally thought I could do it and he was right. If I couldn't complete the repair, I would have at least been sure of the diagnosis when I engaged a repair service. Money well spent either way. It's a brave new world!"

"Our CPVC house piping had a lot of water hammer. After turning on the washing machine, I walked out for a moment, and then when I came back in water was dripping from the ceiling exhaust fan onto the washing machine. We have a two story house and they ran the hot water plumbing from the water heater in the garage through the laundry room ceiling. I removed the exhaust fan and could see water dripping from a tee way back beyond reach. The water hammer from the washer likely caused the fitting to start leaking. I turned the house water supply off and sent a message to Simpson plumbing through Angie's list. A lady from Simpson plumbing contacted me right away the next morning. She was courteous, but was having a hard time understanding what the problem was. Maybe I was giving too much information or something, but when the plumbers arrived later that afternoon they didn't understand what was going on. I ran through what happened again and showed them the wet spot on the ceiling. They had to cut an opening in the ceiling and we turned the water on and confirmed the leak. We moved my washing machine out of their way and they cut out the CPVC tee and replaced it with PEX. The piping was brittle so it took him a couple of attempts to get a straight cut which is why I called them to mess with it. After installing the PEX tee, we were leak free and at my request they provided a reference for the drywall repair. He also advised getting some water hammer arrestors installed on the supply lines to the washing machine to stop the water hammer, which I have since done."

"After wrenching my back trying to work in the cramped space under a bathroom sink, I finally gave up and called M P Plumbing to complete the job. They had done satisfactory work for me previously so I called them again. Tim arrived on time and got right to work. As hard as the job was for me, Tim made it look simple; experience counts. Job was complete within 2 hours. Tim was very friendly and very professional. Exceptional service."

"Clayton (the owner) came out beforehand and gave me quote of $280 to clean the interior as well as wash the windows. They showed up on time. A crew of three women spent about 5 hours cleaning the interior. The wiped all surfaces, washed the floors (include hardwood floors), vacuumed all carpeting, cleaned the bathrooms, dusted, removed cobwebs, and wiped out cabinets. A fourth person washed the windows for 6 hours. He used a ladder to wash the second story windows, and he diligently scrubbed and cleaned the windows with soap and a squeegee. He also meticulously washed the interior of the windows. The windows looked great and did not have any streaks. The house has more than 20 windows, so it was a large job. Overall, this cleaning service did a great job for a rather inexpensive price. I had previously used Trustworthy Cleaning to clean an apartment when I moved out, and they had done a great job."

"Unfortunately not good. I had to put in a service call on three different occasions for the same appliance. Once in July, then again in August and in October. Each time I had to pay the service fee of $75.00. If it was repaired properly I would not have to continually call for repairs. However I do feel that this problem falls on the company that was contracted not Choice Home Warranty!"

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."
