"What an excellent experience! I called Sissi Basement Waterproofing to come out to look at the terribly leaking basement of our recently purchased, more than 100 years old house. Lewis and his team came out that very same day. They walked around in the backyard looking at the gutters, the downspouts, the patio… Then they found why the water went into the basement and made a plan about how to redirect the water flow and waterproof the basement. Next day they provided us with an estimate. There was never any attempt to cause concern or up-sell throughout the whole project. They provided alternatives along with the pluses and minuses of each. They were great to work with. They came on time every day and stayed on budget with the estimate. They were true craftsmen taking pride in their work !! Lewis Team was a real problem solver. There were a lot of challenges to remodel an old basement like ours. They came up with many stable solutions to meet our needs for storage and children’s activity space. "John did an excellent job!! He had to take out an entire shower, redo some of the plumbing, then tile the whole thing back. He made sure all of the plumbing was fixed correctly. He worked patiently to get all of our tile, accent pieces, pebble shower floor, fixtures, and shelves installed perfectly. He had to align spots in the wallbord to get the tile to lay correctly. He took his time to do it right and did a beautiful job. He also fixed a variety of other plumbing, etc issues we had. I highly recommend John and will use his company again."

"After providing his estimate to the home owner, she called another plumbing service for the floor drain issue. He came out within a day, found the issue to be that the kitchen pipe was plugged up mostly and this was also making the floor drain clogged with stuff from the kitchen sink. He used a snake and immediately freed the clog from between the kitchen sink pipe and floor drain. After that it drained just fine. And it was only $100 vs $3800+. I emailed DTS afterwards indicating that it was just clogged and no pipes had to be replaced, but he never responded. So I paid for a $69 inspection with a $100 credit toward future repair that I can't use because the inspection was wrong and the home owner wasn't going to have him do the work with the inspection being incorrect. I suppose the $69 I paid is a lot better than if I'd proceeded with his $3800 estimate for a repair that wasn't needed though. Given I know skilled people can make mistakes, even good ones, I'm only making the overall rating as a C."

"Person arrived very much later than expected and I didn't feel respected by him. Was told the weather needed to be warmer for the repair to be done. Understandable as it was extremely cold. Also said I needed a cover on the bricks at the top of the chimney walls. However I don't know that I will have them come do the work as I didn't get a very good "feeling" about the person giving the estimate. Also, $500. seemed a bit steep. I haven't had the work done yet, so am still debating whether to have this company do the actual work."
