"We were in need of a new water heater after 24 years of service she finally passed away. In our search for a replacement, we contacted a number of companies (7 to be exact), after intense research and finally choosing one my wife and I can honestly say we are happy in our choice in going with Service Squad Plumbing of Fort Worth, this is a company I can honestly say did not attempt to over, charge us, upgrade us or underrate any of the companies we were looking at, they quickly send one of their technicianâ s name Grant (who I believe is their best) he quickly yet thoroughly accessed the situation, our concerns and directly answered all my questions, as well as gave me his advice and choice as to which model and size would be bested fitted in the space the previous one was in, the previous unit was 50gl and not planning ahead we had a customed cabinet tightly built around it, Grant immediately sized up the situation and recommended we go with a smaller 40gl, which is perfectly ok since itâ s only my wife and I now living in the house. Upon setting up an installation date Grant and his apprentice, Cory showed up on time and immediately started the process of removing my old unit and installation of the new unit (note it started to rain yet Grant and Cory continued working), I felt so comfortable and trusting of them that I allowed them to move all their needed equipment into my garage instead of them needing to go back and forward to their truck in the rain. Grant & Cory was very respectful and tidy, they actually were cleaning as they worked, rarely done by most companies, in my opinion if these two technicians are any indication as to the people Service Squad Plumbing hires I could honestly state this is a caring company that is trustworthy and dependable, as well as an indication of their professionalism, was from awarding them our business till completion of the job one of their office workerâ s (Wendy) kept in contact with me in answering before as well as after questions and billing concerning. My thanks to Service Squad Plumbing of Fort Worth and all those involved in making this a smooth installation and purchase. Final Note: Upon loading the old unit in the truck Grant let me take a final picture of her before she when off to Hot Water Heaterâ s Heaven."

"When we originally contacted Cliff Morgan, I had to leave a voice mail.  He called me back within a couple of hours, and agreed to come take a look at the leak in addition to providing a free estimate.  He arrived on time and was very professional.  After listening to various water sources (sinks, shower, outdoor spigot, etc), he believed the leak was between the sink and the shower in one of the bathrooms.  He gave me a couple of leak scenarios and the associated repairs that would be done along with a best case estimate and a worst case estimate (noting that the cost could exceed the worst case if there was something that could not be foreseen with the repair).  He was available to do the work the next day, so we agreed.
He called the next morning to let me know he was on his way and arrived on time.  He spent time methodically testing the water lines to pin point the offending pipe.  As he originally thought, the leak was on the cold side between the sink and shower in one of the bathrooms.  The repair was effective and efficient and he explained everything that he was doing.  The pieces cut out of the walls were small and neatly done.
Best of all, the total bill was actually *less* than the best case scenario quote, which was great news.
While we hope we never see him again (we don't need any more slab leaks!), we would not hesitate to contact him again.  Additionally, we'd highly recommend him.to anyone that needs his services.  If all contractors were like Cliff, home repair/update projects would be *far* less frustrating!

"This was a kitchen faucet replacement. When the plumber opened the new faucet box he discovered that new faucet had been broken and returned to the store. He rescheduled the installation for the next day and did not charge any additional fee to return to finish the job."

"Storm responded promptly to my email and was able to come by the same morning. He determined that the turbines were damaged and would need to be replaced. We already had some of the roof shingles. Storm went to Home Depot and purchased the replacement turbines and installed them and replaced the necessary shingles. He inspected the roof and added some needed silicone caulk. Storm detected the smell of methane from one of the turbines and asked to take a look in the attic. He showed me where one of the bathroom vent pipes was clearly damaged and we agreed that he would return the next day to repair the pipe.

"With the camera work they found a broken pipe underground and presented me a repair plan. I decided not to proceed with them since the repair cost is too much. I was going to get a second opinion from other plumbers.?Mark Masters service?required payment at the time of service and I paid. All the work was done professionally and the crew was nice and good at their work. Only thing I am complaining about?is that Chris never sent me an invoice even if I requested several times."

FAQs for faucets, fixtures and pipes repair or replace projects in Granbury, TX

You can absolutely install an outdoor mixture tap outside your home. An outdoor mixer tap blends hot and cold water before it leaves the spout, giving you a steady temperature for rinsing produce, washing hands, or spraying down patio furniture. As long as a plumber runs both hot and cold supply lines and insulates them against freezing, a mixer outside performs just like the one in your kitchen.

Outdoor faucet handles come in twist, lever, or knob varieties, all designed to stand up to the elements while giving you precise flow control. They’re built from tough materials yet offer the same comfort and ease of use as indoor faucets. Ask your plumber for a selection and for recommendations on the best option for your needs.

Start by pinpointing the leak—often it’s a worn washer, a loose packing nut, or a damaged gasket. If it’s salvageable, replace the faulty part; otherwise, you may need a new faucet. Always turn off the water before starting repairs, and test thoroughly when you’re done to confirm you’ve stopped the leak.

You can protect your outdoor faucets during the winter months by shutting off the water supply to the outdoor faucet before freezing weather arrives and by always disconnecting any attached hoses. You can further safeguard your outdoor faucets against ice by insulating the pipe and installing a basic faucet cover.

An outdoor faucet can last 20 years, though budget models may wear out in 10, and high-end ones can push 30 or more. Proper installation, routine upkeep, and careful use help you get the most life from any spigot. Ask your plumber for maintenance and care recommendations to get the most from your outdoor faucet.

Replacing an outdoor spigot yourself might work if you’re handy, but a professional plumber guarantees code compliance, reduces the risk of water damage, and offers peace of mind. If you’re not sure about soldering or local regulations, it’s best to hire a licensed plumber for a lasting fix that you can feel confident in.
