"We hired HRTI to replace the shake roof on our house with a concrete tile roof. After replacing the roof, we realized that we needed to paint the house and hired HRTI again to do the painting. They did a very good job and worked with us to get everything the way we wanted it. After the painting, we had some water leakage around a window box. We contacted Greg, and he got some workmen out quickly to address the issue. We are very happy with the services that HRTI provided."

"I was treated respectfully. I dealt with four different people, but they were all connected with each other. Each person had a different responsibility. The person who presented the windows to me showed me samples, had a presentation ready with photographs, and helped to get me financed. I was assured they did not want me to pay until after the service was complete. I was always kept in the loop as to when the windows were ready, and when changes to my order had to be made because of the way my house was built. The windows are the finest quality, and I was very excited to show them off. The staff was friendly and punctual. I was shown how to operate my windows, and the installation staff worked tirelessly for several hours to install the windows and clean up. The service was followed with a phone call to be sure I was satisfied."

"Easily the best price after comparing the project across multiple national/local contractors. Dealt directly with the owner throughout the entire process, from quote to walk through. Installation crew was courteous, timely, and did a great job. I have recommended them to some family members as a result of their price/quality of work."

"<p>Two gentlemen arrived as scheduled, removed all old windows and installed the new vinyl clad double pained windows.  They were very professional, clean and very knowledgeable in what they did.  I was super impressed.  </p> <p><br /></p> <p>I had used Window World of Grand Island, approximately 10 years prior in my own home and replaced all 27 windows in a 1926 bungalow.  Wow, is all my neighbors could say.  They were all impressed with how the home looked after they were installed.  I chose the criss cross lattice on the top in that home.  Absolutely loved them.  </p> <p><br /></p> <p>Definitely recommend Window World of Grand Island to anyone.  Salesman Bob is very knowledgeable and helpful also.</p> <br />"

"Did an excellent job after the Tornado last year considering that I was late in the game and just before Halloween to get the re-roof done. Their group of installers was very professional, despite snow falling on them. I highly recommend them. Beware as they can be hard to get ahold of.....they're that busy!"

"Due to a recent storm my family and I were in need of a new roof, we were referred by a neighbor to go with synergy roofing group. All in all they made a horrible situation a very pleasant and quick experience. From the estimate to project installment it was a quick easy and painless experience. If I ever find myself in this same predicament there is only one name I will be choosing. Thank you guys from my family to yours."

FAQs for new windows service projects in Grand Island, NE

Yes, bay windows add value to a home. They enhance the property by expanding the interior space and flooding rooms with natural light. Their unique three-panel design creates a stunning focal point that elevates curb appeal and modernizes living areas. This architectural detail increases both functional space and visual appeal, directly contributing to higher home resale value.

Yes, all window types have the potential to become part of a bay window configuration when modified correctly. The transformation involves reconfiguring standard windows into a multi-panel design that features a larger central window flanked by smaller ones. This process requires precise professional planning and custom framing to ensure durability, visual balance, and structural integrity.

Bay windows typically consist of three glass panels extending beyond the home's exterior walls, with a larger center panel flanked by two smaller ones. In contrast, bow windows are composed of four to six equally sized glass panels that create a gentle curve and do not extend as far from the exterior walls.

Bay windows cost more than standard windows because their expansive, multi-panel design requires additional materials and skilled labor. Their construction involves extra glass, specialized frame components that extend outward, and complex operating mechanisms. These technical demands necessitate precise engineering and multiple expert installations, thereby significantly increasing both material and labor expenses.

Bay windows cost three times more than standard double-hung windows because their design requires extra panels, expanded framing, and a more complex installation process. The advanced construction method increases material consumption and demands comprehensive expertise, while specialized window treatments further elevate expenses. This all results in a significant difference in overall project cost.
