"We will hire him again! It's refreshing to find a professional who responds quickly, and does a superb job. He removed, repaired our rotted soffit and removed and repaired a facia board. Painted both and found the problem related to both issues. We will use him again !"

"It was a steady process. Of course there were hiccups along the way, but with Renaissance & myself working as a TEAM on this project, everything was done & done well. I do believe that is KEY on any project, especially one of this size. I told Jamie at the beginning of the project that communication was VERY important to me. Jamie was quick to address any questions or concerns I had. He picked up my calls every time. I will hire Renaissance Restoration for all home improvements and/or updates."

"Bryan and Cheryl are great to work with ... one hears stories of shoddy work and rip off artists, but these two will recommend what can be done to fix at lowest cost instead of recommending new and expensive solutions.  And the finished work is done well and looks fantastic!  I highly recommend Bryan and Cheryl for anyone needing a home repair or remodeling project ... and you'll need patience because they are in high demand - if you are in a hurry then you'll probably need someone who is not busy and most likely not that good, and they'll charge you a lot.  Bryan is a perfectionist and will keep at a problem area until it is resolved - for instance sun faded siding looked splotchy after power washing, Bryan went up on the ladder and chemically removed the splotches, now it looks brand new."

"<p>We are very pleased with the quality of the work, as well as the quality of the products.  The installation didn't happen as soon as we had hoped; the outside temperatures were too cold to guarantee the seals on the new windows and door.  I appreciated the fact that Northern didn't push ahead and install them anyway - it was well worth the wait.  <br /> <br /><br /> <br />I will definitely use Northern Home Improvement the next time we need work done on our home - they were fabulous.</p> <br />"

"He got it done quickly. He's done a few things here. He redid our entire drywall ceiling in the past and came out and looked at a roof. He just fixed a shingle and didn't even charge. He doesn't overcharge because I'd had somebody come and look at the roof and they said I needed a new roof. Then he got up there and said there were just two shingles out of line and he fixed it. So, he's an honest contractor. He was recommended by another person who was in the business."

"The Crofts were quick to respond to my flooding problem. They diagnosed the issue, replaced the sump pump and helped with other minor plumbing repairs. They were EXTREMELY helpful and went out of their way chase down parts etc... without charging me an arm and a leg (not like what I've experienced with other plumbers). I'll use them on any plumbing needs I have in the future... guaranteed."

"Showed up did a walk through of what was to be done.  They painted my living room and hallway, along with patching and repairing small imperfections.  Looks much better than it did before and feel good about getting it done.  Considering having them do the touchups in other rooms as well <br />"

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Grass Lake, MI

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
