"Brian from Torres flooring reached out to me immediately after I submitted my request, and quickly gave me a quote and did the repair that day! We had a small section of our vinyl floor cut out by our previous owners to install a wooden railing. We removed the railing and needed the flooring patched with some of the flooring we had stored away. I contacted so many floor companies who said the job was 'too risky' and declined the job, or told us we needed to replace the entire floor (for like $5k). Brian was super friendly and said he could do the job no problem, understood what we needed done, and did a great job! We were seriously getting desperate and didn't know if we were ever going to get our floor fixed. HUGE thank you to Brian for the expertly rescuing our floor! "

"STAY AWAY! First the good: We hired K and K in 2014 for some big projects in our then-new home (new to us). We had them install carpets in 4 large bedrooms, replace carpets with hardwoods on our second floor, and refinish all the hardwoods on our main level. My POC was Michael, they were very reasonably priced, and Michael and K and Ks crew were nothing short of amazing. As a result, when we wanted to replace the carpet in our family room in 2019, I called only one flooring contractor: K and K (specifically Michael). They replaced the carpet in our family room on February 8, 2019, and everything went well. That was in 2014 and 2019. Now the bad: A year later, the carpet in our family room started to buckle. I reached out to Michael, and he promised K and K would stretch the carpet. He indicated that K and K was overbooked and asked for patience, which I gave. He kept putting me off for well over a year. One day, a new representative, Ricardo, answered Michaels line and indicated that Michael had left the company. I asked Ricardo to honor K and K s promise to stretch the carpet and also to provide some estimates on additional projects. Ricardo agreed to stretch the carpet and also provided the requested estimates. Three months later, Ricardo informed me that K and K management had decided not to fix the carpet unless we agreed to hire them for additional projects. I was shocked that after an eight year relationship, they had decided to renege on their promises (and over such a small job - stretching our family room carpet) and actually attempted to blackmail me into hiring them for additional work! So I say again - STAY AWAY! This company has slipped a lot over the past eight years and does not honor their commitments."
