Out of many contractors I called to get an estimate, he was the only one willing to provide options to have the project fit our budget. Once we agreed to move forward, he worked diligently with the architect and village to get the permits finalized (which is a difficult task in my town). Once the work started, he provided almost daily updates of the work that will be completed and any anticipated inspections (which we passed easily). He also reached out himself to finalize details from big items like windows to small ones like the molding. The result was a beautiful sunroom and deck which I receive compliments on regularly. "Mike and RJ rebuilt a side porch on my historic home. This included steps, pouring footings, replacing rotten wood and doing all this while maintaining the structural integrity of the original roof over this little porch. Mike was upfront with me about best and worst case scenarios and built exactly the porch I wanted. It looks like it’s always been there (which can be hard with an older home!). His communication with me was excellent, he’s very quick to return phone calls and emails or text messages and as always, he’s reliable and punctual. "The vendor came initially to give an estimate for a exterior repair and painting project. After discussing the issues we were having with some of our external cedar boards, he suggested that we wait on some of the work we were thinking of doing until next year. He offered some very helpful and insightful advice that several other vendors, including some A-rated Angie's List members, didn't including switching from solid stain to a wood-based paint in order to seal the boards and prevent subsequent freezing and thawing breakages that plagued some of the other boards that are beginning to crumble. <br /> After setting up a plan for next spring to comprehensively address the exterior, we set up a time for him to come out and repair a broken exhaust vent that was resulting in cold air blowing into the house. He came out just a few days later (and well before the weather turned cold) with a new vent and insulation to repair the problem both inside and out. <br /> Additionally, while he was here, he helped with a package that my wife was assembling. He's friendly and knows his stuff. I highly recommend him. <br />"

"We had a 750 sq foot elevated deck built by Joel and the building team led by Matt. Joel was fantastic to work with from his first visit, design proposal and quote. The building team led by Matt did extremely high quality work and were great to design with as the project progressed. They were very neat and hard working. We were delighted with the overall experience, result and value for money. We would definitely work with them again and highly recommend them."

"I cannot recommend Bigane Construction too highly!!  This was a difficult project, which spanned a period of three months--including the last month, during most of which my wife and I were living in the unit while construction was continuing.  The quality of the workmanship was far beyond our highest expectations.  The principal worker on the job, Lukasz, is a true artisan as well as a wonderful individual.  He was unfailingly helpful, was neat as could be, had great insights as to how best to do the work, and communicated with us constantly with regard to questions which would arise.  He also worked very closely with our kitchen and bathroom planner, to ensure that the actual work not only conformed to the drawings but to the planner's design vision as well.  Lukasz is a perfectionist, who insists on everything being absolutely correct.  He knows the kitchen and bath remodeling business inside and out.  The other workmen on the job which Bigane provided (including brick masons, plumbers, glass installers and painters) were equally professional.    Bill Bigane himself was always available when needed.  I feel that the overall fee was not excessive in the light of the work performed.  The resulting effort is a showpiece, of which we are extremely proud.  I hope to never again have to live through a remodeling--but if I did, Bigane would be the first people I would call."
