Customers say: Quick response

"Rey (Reynaldo Nunez) and his team are truly landscape artist. They arrived early and quietly began so as not to disturb us. They kept me informed, asked my opinions frequently to see if they were satisfying our needs and expectations, of which they exceeded by far mind you. Rey and his team created an awesome landscape my family and can enjoy for ages. Rey and his team even finished a complete one day above projection. And we are already planning with them to do our backyard as well in a few weeks. Excellent company, team and personnel, great vision, skill, prompt and punctual, amid more than reasonable pricing."

"I hired this company to do the grading for the front of my house. They came and saw the job, they gave me an estimate the same day. They gave a fair price, finished the job fast, neatly, and professionally. They also helped me export 3 dump trucks and one trailer of trash, which all came out from the front of my house. If you are looking for a company who knows what they are doing, while doing it fast and clean, 10/10 I would recommend hiring this company. I would 100% give them a call back on any of my future projects."

"Sky renovation was easy to communicate with. They were punctual and very attentive to all our needs and concerns. I was very pleased with their advice and appreciated their honesty in creating a working design that fit our needs. Finally, we never felt that they were trying to "up-sell" us on more expensive designs or work that was not necessary. I will be working with them again."

"If you’re looking for a licensed contractor to complete any earthwork projects, big or small look no further than EM grading. The owner Eli is incredibly committed and customer service oriented. He has over two decades of experience and I assure you, you will be satisfied with his work. We have a 15 acre ranch and his company did a great job, smoothing out tough piles of hard to move mulch. EM grading truly goes above and beyond making sure the work is done safely, professionally and economically. He brings his own equipment and tools, simply getting the job done in a timely manner. I would refer him to anyone that needs work done on their house, property or business."

"The remodel went pretty smoothly, we had 8 people living in the whole house remodel, so any bumps we had were just coordinating movement and getting the areas done, not a bad thing, we just had to move around a lot so that each part could be done.  I am glad we were here during the remodel, but I don't think I would live in the house through one again..it can be stressful.  I like the fact that I could telephone, email, or text Paul and he would respond quickly. We were able to have constant communication with him, good or bad.  Paul was willing to work everything out and we are very satisfied with our remodel. Currently, we are finishing up our punch list, and we are having him bid on a patio remodel.

The things we would do differently would have; all appliances on hand sooner than later this allows for better measurements on cabinets;  have all  fixtures ready and at the house, because if they have to be special ordered nothing will get delayed.  If you are using a local retailer make sure there is enough product in stock;  tile, granite, flooring picked out and ready to go.  We chose to buy our own appliances and fixtures, rather than having Paul do it, that way we got what we wanted and did not have to be on a budget where those items were concerned.  We spent another 20,000.00 on these items.  I have a 2300 sq ft house, three bedrooms two bathrooms.

Any problems that came up on the job were resolved in a timely manor, communication is very important.  There were no problems that were major, just bumps that happen with any construction project.  We would definitely refer him to our friends and neighbors."

i have to state that since someone had already messed up this job before Steve Letwinch got to have a go at ,it I was in the mode of watching everything like a hawk.  Two days after the start of the job I found that I could relax--the job site was left clean and swept at the end of each day.  The workers arrived on time everyday and worked at a good pace--I was probably a bit of a painby always "just looking in"  to watch what and how they were doing things.  Boy, what a difference from the other contractor.  Each worker knew what he was doing and they were actually working.  The jobs were tackeled concurrently - mainly the kitchen and the bath .  The third area was installation of the floor part of a deck.  There was some music ,but, it was at an acceptable volume and I noticed when Mr. Letwinch would leave the site for a reason he always spoke to one or two of his workers (I imagine they were his second in command) and reviewed with them what he wanted done, how he wanted it done and when he would be back.  Upon his return I noted that he inspected the work that had been completed in his absence and made sure it was to his standards.  At one point he was not satisfied with the mudding of the drywall and just made the worker redo the wall. He was just as pickey with the painters.  I felt I could relax because he seemed to as picky and detailed oriented as I am.
The job was actually finished 1 day before it was promised-- that is something I have never experienced before -- and the final product was great.  I noticed that he was double checking valves, plumbing and lighting the day he was finishing.  We did a walk through-- there were no problems.
Seven or eight days later he called me --he had started another job in Mission Viejo and was going to be passing close by my house and wanted to know if he could stop by.  Since I was home and not busy I consented.  He just wanted to make sure in person that I was happy with the job and wanted to know if I had found anything that wasn't to my satisfaction -- I couldn't believe it!   We walked through the kitchen and bath as we chatted  giving me plenty of time to remember if there was any little thing that wasn't to my liking.  As he was leaving he told me he gets most of his work through referrals.  I can understand--I certainly do not hesitate to recommend his work and him when I hear someone is considering doing a small remodel or a whole second story. Also this knows his way around the permit process-- I was very impressed with his interaction with one of the code inspectors that came out to sign off on the job. In talking to the man he does jobs from $5k  to $500K  He can build a spect house or take care of fire damage or do a small deck.  He evidently also gets houses ready for market.  I would use him in the future as he was willing to discuss my problems, what I wanted out of the project and he came up with some great ideas that saved me a little money along the way.
