"I came to the link to share it with a friend who is looking for a contractor because I wanted to recommend her to Joseph and Sons and realized I have not written my review yet. I know is a late review though the feeling is the same :) I met with Angelo in the winter of 2019 - a tree had fallen over our roof, we had damage in different areas of the house including the deck. I will make it efficient for you guys; 1. They worked around my budget and went above and beyond 2. They cleaned up after themselves every time 3. Staff was extremely respectful. No music, or Loud conversations and absolutely nice. We enjoyed getting coffee for them and sweets for late afternoon snacks. 4. They will get the job done the way you have imagined it, not the way they think is best. 5. Angelo understands your needs and will help you get as much load off your shoulders as possible. 6. Clean finishes. Sharp paint skills. Detailed focused. 7. Angelo understands how the HOI works, and all the possible ways things could end up working out, so we were always prepared and the job came to finish under the full given budget by the HOI co. 7. I hired him for a few other things at home. 8. They did; new roof, full master bath reno, master wall, second bath ceiling, guest room wall+ceiling, kids room wall + ceiling, second-floor whole-way ceiling, kitchen ceiling, deck reno + pain, AC repairs, paint outside and inside, gutters. They are truly awesome, it was a blessing from heaven having them to help us deal with so much stuff. If I have more projects to do at home I will be calling Angelo again."

"The original project turned into an emergency project because of a storm that brought down two huge trees. Sage handled the removal of the debris of the fallen limbs and removed the trees. "We looked around for a while for our patio project. Got multiple quotes and a few unfortunate no responses and a few who just completely forgot us after the first visit. Roy came and gave us a good quote. He was one of the better prices and from reviews here and pictures of his past work I decided to go with him. The work started on a Friday morning and was completed the next day. Starting 8am and finishing around 4 on both days. We did a 20' x 33' paver patio with 2 rounded corners and 2 x 3' deep stone landings by our two back entrances. There is a slope in our yard that necessitated a small retaining wall on one corner as well which was about a foot high. The patio looks great and is exactly what we asked for. If you are looking to do masonry work, these guys will not disapoint. My only downside was that the extra dirt from the patio excavation was not placed in the best places possible. I have a slope in my yard that was made just a bit steeper now. This is something I should have planned ahead for and I would not fault Roy and his crew. Factoring in where to put the extra dirt should have been planned more in advance with them. My advice would be to find someone to haul it away for you. Roy mentioned local landscapers who may be in need of dirt."

"Well, I scheduled well in advance fr 8:30 on the Tuesday morning. At 10:00 I called because nobody had called or shown up and I had to leave for work. I was asked if I still wanted someone to come out because it was cold and it had rained the day before. I said "yes" and I was told two guys would be there in about a half hour. 45 minutes later a truck pulled up in front of my house and two guys sat there until 11 when they got out and told me they had the wrong street number and were not sure which house to go to. Well, they were very nice and I told them exactly what I wanted done. When I had to leave for work, I told them the existing leaves on the grass did not have to be done if they ran out of time because I could pick ten up with my lawn mower. I came home after dark and the next day was very excited to look at my back yard leaf free. The perimeter of the yard where the beds were was mostly leaf free, but what they did was blow all the leaves from the back yard onto the grass, leaving  leaves as much as a foot deep in places which was way too much for my little lawnmower to handle. I tried calling Brett and left him a message telling him my concerns. Later in the afternoon my husband and I decided to tackle the daunting job of removing all the leaves. After about two hours, we got the grass totally free of leaves and made a huge pile of leaves in the back corner of the yard and in addition took out 10 bags of leaves to the curb. Brett did call me back and when he heard what happened was very apologetic and volunteered to come back out. I told him it would be very nice if they would like to haul off all the leaves we had gathered. He said he would be by Saturday. On Saturday they showed up just as I was leaving the house and I was very pleased....until I came home! They very kindly had decided to not only haul off the huge pile of leaves that I had created from the wrk I had done, but they decided they did not get all the leaves in the flower beds the previous time so they would get them this time. So, they blew all the remaining leaves onto the grass which at that point had not even one leaf on it, and left me a yard full of leaves to get rid of - again! So back to the yard I went to mow and rake the leaves up, and in some spots they were taller than the front of the lawnmower so I had the problem again of picking them up. So, are they nice? Absolutely. Were they willing to come back at no charge to fix up their mess? Absolutely. Did they fix the problem? Well, partially by removing all the gahered leaves in the back, but in the interim, they recreated the first problem. I feel bad not giving them rave reviews because Brett and the other two workers seemed genuinely nice. But three hours of leaf raking after paying $199 to have it done just does not make me want to give them rave reviews.
