"After reading his great reviews on Angie’s List, I knew I wanted to contact him about 2 GFCI outlets that were not working. I called him to get an estimate on how much it would cost to fix both of them since he provides free phone estimates. He took his time on the phone explaining his pricing and his pricing seemed reasonable so I decided to hire him. I had multiple problems with my outlets. The outlets had a loose connection and there was a short. He spent in total about 3.5 hours trying to fix it. One of the times that he thought it was fixed, we tested both outlets and both worked so I paid him and he left. About 10 minutes after he left, I called him to tell him it wasn’t working and he said he he would come back immediately. He came back right away and this time the problem was fixed for good. He gave me a 6 month warranty on the outlets too. Ken is an honest guy and he’s really friendly too. At a time when most contractors are taking advantage of this pandemic and overcharging, Ken is clearly not. After he got paid and left, he could have not answered my phone call or told me he would come back a different day because he had other appointments to get to. Obviously he didn’t do that. He cares about helping people and doing the right thing for the customer. Needless to say, he will be the first person that I call the next time I have an electrical problem."

"i got an estimate which was fair for the original work I described. But in actuality the job bacame much easier due to a simple fix for an outlet and a much easier installation of 2 bedside lamps. wll hung instead of going inside the wall. When it came time to pay, I wrote a check for very close to the original estimate and feel the electrician should have reduced thetotal amount since the actual work was less then originally budgeted. In spite of that, the work was superior, Matthew was tidy and responsible. I would definitely recommend him, but just be careful with the final bill."
