"I called Michael Shain, owner and operator of New York Indoor Air Quality Solutions in request of having the indoor air quality of my home analyzed post mold remediation work performed by another company. After giving Mike a short description of my problem(s) and why I was requesting the IAQ analysis, Mike was not convinced that it was necessary and did not want me to waste money paying for unnecessary IAQ analysis and did not try to sell me services at anytime. "Called Enviro-test on Friday, left message, Mark called back and scheduled the assessment for the next day. (He is based in Saratoga: don't let the company's Amityville address deter you from hiring him to do work in the Capital region). He arrived at 8:00 AM and left around 12:00. He tested all painted surfaces in all of the rooms, hallways, and staircases in the house, and took dust samples in 2 rental units. He provided a report one week later with detailed results and recommendations. I was very pleased with how quickly this company could schedule and do the assessment."
