Residential/ Commercial Contractor
"Jeremy and his crew were great! Personable yet professional. The job took a little longer due to more subfloor damage than expected. The end result… perfection! I will definitely hire ACQ Home Improvement again, and gladly recommend them to my friends and clients."

Remodels
"TnT built our new construction small home, including framing, siding, roofing, insulation, drywall, tile work, cabinet installation, and other miscellaneous items. Their coordination with other subcontractors' schedules (plumbing, electric, garage door installers, etc) was impeccable. Their attention to detail and eye for material usage was very wallet-friendly (and eco-friendly, too!) Their years of experience and knowledge were also very helpful in helping us make certain decisions along the way. Overall, TnT was extremely knowledgeable, fast, considerate, and have us high-quality work and results."

Asphalt Shingle Roofing - Install or Replace, Major Renovation - Multiple Rooms
"Paul and his crew did a great job siding my over-sized detached garage, installing new roofs on the garage and sheds, and completing a non-trivial roof repair for a leaky roof left over from a prior contractor. Other contractors provided estimates to replace the entire home roof at considerable cost. Paul suspected a specific problem area, and advised me to repair that area only before attacking the entire roof. If the repair holds up through the winter, then I'll have gotten by at a fraction of the cost of a new roof; and if not, I'll be no worse off. It's nice to work with some who's looking out for you."

"Alexander was an absolute pleasure to work with. He is professional, diligent, transparent with the process, and willing to go above and beyond. He worked with us to totally redesign our deck, get our town's Conservation Commission to approve the design (a lengthy process), and then did really beautiful work. We will definitely hire him for more work in the future."

"Mine was not just a repair. Substantial work to correct serious flaws in the original construction was needed. Not only did they correct the original flaws. They made significant improvements. Finally, they really knew what they were doing when it came time to install the deck boards to fit around existing concrete structures. JUST PERFECT. Highly recommended them."

HomeAdvisor makes it easy to connect with pros near you. You can read reviews, get quotes and book appointments all in one place.
Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
Groton Addition & Remodeling Contractors are rated 4.9 out of 5 based on 336 reviews of 336 pros.
