"They came out for a $99 roof inspection but it hardly covered anything, they just came out looked at it and gave their evaluation and recommended repairs and gave us an estimate for those. It was okay but I just thought we would get more for what we paid for. Wasn't really a deal. The $99 was really just a we'll come out and look at it, didn't cover any repairs or anything. "Fabulous company. Jeff Goldman is such a pleasure to work with! He was always honest about when the crew, whichever crew, would be arriving: demolition crew, wall crew, paver crew, deck crew, waterproofing crew, stucco crew, paint crew. Didn't matter..he was able to make this work flow. If there was a glitch Jeff would give us an estimate, pretty close to REAL TIME when work would be done. And the result is fabulous! A stunning patio, 2nd story deck, BBQ and grill area, and did I mention the paver designs? Final touch was bringing the landscaper to finish the small amount of grass that needed to be installed and plants. We LOVE the result and we LOVE Jeff."

"Thomas took photos of the areas that needed caulking and made recommendations to seal roof as roof was still in decent shape and offered to do it immediately in the same afternoon.  He accommodated my request to email the photos he took so I could have them for my files.  I liked how he explained the process while the roof was being sealed so I could see the difference of the before and after as it happened.  He also made recommendations for work for me to consider (I think Thomas is a very good sales person and also knowledgeable and provides good work.)
I see from another review for work very similar to mine that their cost was $700 less than mine and it was just 10 days earlier.  I also see that Thomas offers a 10% senior discount but that was not offered to me.  So, this disappoints me as the unexpected cost of the job is not inconsequential to a person on a limited income.  I still trust Thomas Parks' work and may consider him for a future job.
Update to review (10/22/15)  After seeing my review, Thomas tried to contact me several times to explain the pricing and the differences between my job and a previous job that I had cited that was done at a lower cost.  We finally did connect. I really appreciate Thomas taking the time to provide me with an explanation. I can see how using another review's price as comparison can be misleading as the size of the project is an important factor.  He also explained that the price charged actually included a discount and that he had explained it to me at the time.  I think that in the confusion of going from a simple gutter cleaning to a roof tune-up with the resultant unexpected cost I probably missed all the details and only focused on the cost of the new job.  So, I want to emphasize how accommodating, knowledgeable, and trustworthy Thomas Park is and that he provides quality work.  I was pleased that he was able to provide me with a roof tune-up on the spot after the gutter cleaning which gives me some peace of mind in anticipation of upcoming winter storms."

"The job went very well. The technician Bill came to my house to give us a bid for the work. He was very friendly, courteous, and took his time explaining exactly what he recommended and what he was going to do. We felt very comfortable with him and could tell that he had a lot of experience. He gave us several options and we chose what worked for us. The next day he came back with another technician and all of the materials and started the work. They took a lot of time making sure to cover and protect our floors and furniture. They cleaned up very well and did not leave any mess or trash which we liked. The lighting is much nicer than we imagined. "I hired this company to do the grading for the front of my house. They came and saw the job, they gave me an estimate the same day. They gave a fair price, finished the job fast, neatly, and professionally. They also helped me export 3 dump trucks and one trailer of trash, which all came out from the front of my house. "My husband and I recently purchased our first house in the beginning of
this year, obviously it being our first, we knew we weren't buying our
dream house, but yet a fixer upper with potential. We found a cute
little house in a good clean area with a fabulous yard, however the
inside needed some work, to say the least, but again we saw the
potential. My husband and I decided to use our vacation time that we had
from our jobs, to interview contractors, rather than take a trip to
Europe like we had planned. In the beginning I almost regretted it, the
first couple of contractors that came were a nightmare! I was dreaming
that I was on a beach somewhere in the middle of one estimate. The
contractor was rude, pushy and arrogant. We were mainly interviewing
contractors for our kitchen, some flooring and to replace the windows,
and he was trying to sell us on remodeling the whole house, basically
telling us that the whole place was a dump ( which wasn't the case). The
previous homeowners had recently remodeled the 2 bathrooms prior to
selling and they were basically brand new, and very nice looking. really
the only thing the house needed was kitchen, flooring, windows...and
paint ( which we will do later). Needless to say, we politely thanked
him and went about our search. The next guy we had over was  just way
too expensive...he wanted $70,000.00 just for the kitchen alone!! We
laughed him out of the house. Then we had Big 3 Construction come
over... I wished we had called them in the beginning. Their project
manager was, very nice, pleasant to talk to and professional, he was
very knowledgeable and honest. He was a saint compared to the other two.
He measured our kitchen, showed us samples and even helped with some
design options...he came up with a price that was perfect for our budget
and we didn't have to scale back on any work, we got exactly what we
were looking for. Then we we had him give us a price on replacing the
carpet in the bedroom and refinished the floor throughout the rest of
the house and the windows, everything was fair and honest...needless to
say, we signed right there on the spot! They started the very next day,
which we were pleasantly pleased. The workers were very nice and
respectful of our home and time, everyday before they left, the cleaned
up, picked everything up...to be honest, it seemed my house was cleaner
when they left than it was before they came! They made the process
smooth and effortless for us, it was actually really exciting to see it
stage by stage, it made us that much more eager.  In the end, our home
was beautiful. It may have not been our dream home when we bought it,
but it is definitely our dream home now, minus the paint that we need.
and as a matter of fact, after everything was completed, we had Big 3
come back out and give us an estimate on painting...again, we signed
right then and there, we already knew the price they were giving us us
fair and we already know the quality of there work ( which is
excellent), so there was no need for us to sit through any painfull
estimates. We love Big 3, we would recommend them to everyone. And we
will not not us any other contractor except Big 3 for as long as we
live. FYI...they do it all, big small, they build houses from the ground
up, so there isn't anything that they don't do. So, if you want an
excellent quality of work at reasonable prices, give Big 3 Construction a
call. I guarantee you will be just as pleased as were are and you will
never search for another contractor again.
