"A technician arrived at the appointed time and easily diagnosed the problem. I had purchased the unit and had it installed 6 years prior by another company but I couldn't recall if it was still under warranty. The tech did some research and found out it was under warranty and rather than charging me for more than $49 service call, suggested I call the original installing company, since that might save me money with labor, stating he would gladly do the repair if that was my preference. I did decide to call the installer, and that was the right decision since it was a problem with a part they had already replaced for me, they had had the same problem with other units from the manufacturer. I am confident my house will be cool this summer, that's all that counts, right? Even though Huft didn't do my repair, they showed professionalism with helping me come up with the right solution and help me safe money in the process."

I was pleasantly surprised that the technician was the same gentleman I talked to over the phone so I did not have to retell what was wrong with my system. He did not try to sell me on upgrading my unit or a bunch of repairs I did not need. The service was fast, very reasonably priced, and I have had no issues since. "Just had the initial diagnostic visit. I was given terrible news (I'll probably end up getting a new furnace $$$), but the technician Ricky was wonderful. He was extremely polite, professional, and friendly. He did a very thorough inspection and then gave me a very thorough explanation of the problems. This included photos he took on the spot of some internal parts (oil leakage, heavy dust & dirt, stress markings).... at no point did I feel like I couldn't trust what he was telling or showing me. He answered every question I had. He went into the "attic" of my Eichler to check the ductwork (via a 14" hole in the closet ceiling, into space so shallow and tight I have no idea how the ductwork was ever even installed), and came out with photos to show me. The company was easy to work with when I had to change appointments, sent me email and text confirmations of everything, and gave me a day-before reminder of the appointment. I had an 8a- 11a window and received a text at 7:50a letting me know the technician was on his way, with a photo of him included. Perfect, perfect, perfect. The visit was $89 but reduced to $39 because I signed up for the MVP membership: $107 for a year which gets me all kinds of free services plus discounts on everything else. It even includes services on my water heater which they did not install! Additionally, they have some really good guarantees, MVP or not. Before leaving he called the office, explained all he'd found, and handed me the phone to set up an appointment with a "comfort specialist". Ariel (on the phone) was also extremely polite, professional, and friendly. These people are trained right! Or they're hiring very well. So, I will be meeting with someone to discuss repairs vs. replacement options. No repair work has been done yet (although Ricky did do a temporary fix that is allowing me to get some heat), so I can't fully review the company. But thus far I'm 100% pleased. This is probably the best experience I've ever had with any kind of repair technician. I've never used them before and have also never written a review before. The experience was just that good. I'll write another when I've finished with them just to give a full review, but so far perfect!"

"A pleasant experience from start to finish. The quoting process was a good two-way discussion, and cordial - no pushy salesman telling you how bad Company X or Y was. Just honest, factual, and straightforward. They quoted us a system with the panels, racking, and inverter which we wanted, not what they were pushing. The quote wasn't the best (hence the 'B' for price) but it did offer the best VALUE when we considered the equipment specification and the stability of the company - an important consideration when looking at a system with a 25 year life! The installation was scheduled by our coordinator, Sherry, and the team showed up when promised and got the job completed on time. Quality of workmanship was first rate and the entire installation was done with care, and tidied away before the team left. Permitting and PG&E inspection were all handled by Sherry, and that was also quick and flawless. Overall, the system they installed easily meets their projections in terms of performance, and it effectively pays for itself. We really couldn't be more pleased with NRG Clean Power and have recommended them to friends and neighbors. We'd recommend you give them your consideration if your looking for solar power."
